This is Surreal to me, because the first single I paid attention to for sales was Shabondama and I've never seen a single do as well as it in the 9 years I've been a fan. It's really surreal that this single is on it's heels.... 9 years later.

In terms of just first week sales what single is 90k comparable to?

The last single to sell 90k it's first week was Shabondama with 98,028 sales. It was released 9 years ago.


This means this single will be the biggest selling first week for the 6th generation, EVER.

And when you consider how much record sales have dropped in the last DECADE - this is an amazing thing to happen.
If the girls can pull off another 10k, which they CAN easily, then it will be the biggest selling first week in 10 years since Koko ni Iruzee.

Still - even if it does magically appear, point standing that it wont do anything to promote sales, so it being a "double a-side" is pretty pointless. I mean heck, it should be "One Two Three/The Matenrou Show/Watashi no Jidai/Aisaretai no ni/Seishun do Mannaka"
