it's not just out of focus (although they've done that plenty in the past), they're focusing back and forth. so they can be focused on one girl that's in the front, and then move focus to the girl behind her, etc.

They're not, actually, and that's the problem. Alternating focus is done all the time, but in these videos there are instances where the whole shot is just out of focus for a moment, with none of the girls in focus at all. 0:47, 2:26, 2:29, 2:33, 2:35, 3:21, 3:23, 3:58 in OTT are just some examples. It's not usually more than a second, and I guess I GET what they're doing... but at the same time, I'm realizing that it's almost every time they move the camera sharply so it may just be them trying to mask shoddy camerawork trololo but I doubt it. And even when you'd think they'd be focusing on just one or two members like at 0:21, when Riho and Sayu are sharing a line, the shot is out of focus entirely, Sayu and Riho aren't in focus.

In fact, the only time they seem to successfully bring some girls in focus while blurring others is 0:49-0:57, although there may be more. I would have preferred more of that.

you may be right, i actually didn't keep a close eye on the camera work this time (i was watching the choreography mostly), i know they did for the One Two Three dance shot and i thought they carried over the same style on this dance shot since i did see it pop up once or twice.

does it bother you every time they've done that? like in the Only you and Renai Hunter close-ups.

there seems to be many many moves from previous singles...
like the arms waving (i think in Kono Chikyuu) and the mini-squirted dance while clapping hands.... it seems familiar but the whole dance is too epic!!

I didn't get bored one instant even when they repeated the moves! It's awesome
