Not quite. The Golden Era is generally considered to have ended with the graduation of Maki Goto, which means the last single of the Golden Era was "Do It! Now", and it sold 310K.

Depends on where you end the golden Era really. Many would include Kiki ni iruzee to Ai Araba it's all right when nacchi left and some would go even as far as when Yosshi graduated (being the last 4th gen and golden era member). Also I thought Platinum Era started when Ai Takashi became the leader. So what would we even call the time between Do it! Now and Onna ni Sachi Are because it's that period I'm really looking for. The area before they started averaging 50k per single.

Then those people are stretching it to the point of absurdity.

What made the Golden Era the Golden Era were:

- Maki Goto's sexy image

- DANCE☆MAN's neo-disco arrangements

- Consistent #1 rankings

The second and third ended with "Souda! We're ALIVE", and the first ended one release later with "Do It! Now".

After that, Hideyuki "Daichi" Suzuki took over the arrangements and the entire look and sound of the group changed, going much younger since the balance had shifted to the Fourth and Fifth Generations.

I think those people just want the 6th gen to be considered Golden Era out of biased feelings. But after Goto left and they made major changes to the format of groups in H!P it triggered a consistant decline in popularity hence the golden era ended. And that period i suppose we can call it the "Rot setting in era" since it was just a time of decline and constant scandals, unpopular graduations,Changes and business decisions

Yeah, back in 2005/2006 people had considered the Golden Era to long be over. Back in 2003 (when I got into Momusu) people were talking about the Golden Era whistfully, so it was before that even

Yeah, my fandom in MM has just been a period of a slow downward spiral of disappointment and diminishing returns, up until quite recently. That's why, even though they're starting out as underdogs, seeing Reborn Musume is an exciting period.
