I have no idea what kanji Sayaka chose, but 美雨 is pretty damn cute so I picked it for her :hehe:

Honestly i can't understand the rationale of people who show their kids faces all over their blog or on facebook and stuff. I wouldn't want my kids being looked at by a bunch if strangers doing god knows what so now idea why anyone else would want that.

There are plenty of stalkers and weirdos out there like imagine if a celebs kid was at day care or something and some creepy fan knew what the kids face looks like and snatched them in some weird plot to lure the celeb into being with them.

But even with normal people i don't see a point in broadcasting your kids photos all over the internet.

If I recall correctly, the Japanese think that if the face is obscured in any way then the person cannot be recognized. Sort of like no one being able to recognize Tuxedo Kamen even though the mask only covered 20% of his face.

^ But in Sailor Moon, no one recognizes anyone in their normal attire as their senshi or villain versions without anything obscuring their faces XD

And to strangers, I bet all babies and very young kids look the same, unless the stranger is that stalkerish and creepy... which might be the problem lol

And in which case, if they were THAT fucked up - chances are they would find some other way to abduct a child if they wanted to "lure" someone into being with them. Like the whole Victoria Beckham kidnap plot.

So - in theory - baby Kago and Noa could just be in sailor senshi outfits :hehe:

i don't think it's just protection against stalker-ish people.. those people don't need blog photos to go by, they'll just follow the person.
i think it's more for general public.. the more they see a baby's face, especially continually over the years like on a blog, the more they'll be able to recognize their face as they grow up. like one day they could see Noa walking home from school with a babysitter, and realize that they must live close to Tsuji.

doesn't mean they'll turn all stalker on the family, but it leads to things like gossip and the information spreading, and just loss of anonymity for the kid. i mean, i don't watch E! or read celebrity magazines, but i could still probably recognize Angelina Jolie's kids (except the babies, haven't seen many photos of them) and Katie Holmes/Tom Cruise's girl.

That's a picture taken by a random passerby/press, not by Tsuji or Taiyou. It wasn't posted on either of their blogs.
There have been other pics made public by Noa, as well, but none of them have come from her parents. That's the point here.
