Sayumi - Because she da boss. What she lacks in vocals she makes up for in effort, teamwork, and personality! She loves her work and she deserves your respect!!
Haruka - My favorite during the auditions! I love that she's the baby but definitely has more leadership qualities than probably 80% of the group! I love her bad ass character, her husky voice and her new hair is absolutely perfect! Do not touch it UFA! She looks like an Avex idol! (I'm thinking SweetS) I think she has a lot of potential!
Erina - Totally reminds me of old school Eri! And her Gaki obsession is cute! I feel guilty she was the only one I didn't like in the beginnning! She absolutely has THE cutest smile!
Masaki - Adorable! She was also my least favorite Jyuuki that has been climbing in my rankings. LOVE how she has changed Reina to be more of a member! And she has my second favorite voice out of the jyukkis!
Kanon - She was my original favorite of the Kyukki's...but she seems bored/sad now. I need her to be her old goofball self again! Please give her a TV or a radio show or something!
Riho - She's a superstar! Very talented very cute...just a lil boring, imo.
Ayumi - Love her. I'm just a little underwhelmed at the moment! I definitely want her to be one of Tsunku's Aces but MM doesn't need two Riho's.
Mizuki - She has a lovely voice...probably my favorite out of the kyuukies. But I can't get into the generic cutesy idol expressions and the lack of personality.
Haruna - Simply just a sweetie pie that somehow ended up down here because everyone is so awesome.
Reina If you've seen one Reina performance you've seen them all, if you ask me. Her voice grates my ears. I know it's not 100% her fault, but her personality doesn't help her, IMO. Performance-wise she's just on Idol Autopilot. She lacks energy and charisma. She has been here for me for the past 5 yrs and will stay here. Unless, Masaki really breaks down those walls and we see a Reina that seems to care about her MM family.


Besides Reina, lol, it was super super close. I've been trying to do this darn list for months!! I feel like a burden has been lifted by finally figuring it out. lol. I take my lists seriously...One thing I really love about this line up is that they all seem so loyal to H!P. Not that any previous line-ups weren't loyal. But, they just seem to genuinely care. I love that they're all otakus, or they aspire to be leaders, and that they're all doing 110%. It's so refreshing having kiddos in MM again!

Also, there was a magazine interview somewhere asking about Reina's attitude adjustment...and she directly said it was because of Masaki. She really softened her up. It's super cute.

Morning Musume Ranking!

1. Sayumi (Always has been my favorite for her beauty, intelligence, and personality. No, not a great singer, but she is an idol, so singing doesn't always matter so much.)
2. Haruka (Since the auditions she is the one I was rooting for! Her baby face and husky voice got to me. ;_; She is definitely going to grow up to be a looker.)
3. Riho (She is THE best dancer in Morning Musume, possible one of the best they have ever had. Up there with Ai and Eri for me. And I don't care, I think her voice is brilliant. And such charisma!)
4. Reina (She is BEAUTIFUL and looks like a DOLL in person! She is the best singer in Morning Musume right now, possibly even H!P. Well, Airi might be better, but she is a solid 2nd. I thought this rather recently, though, as her voice used to irritate me. I love her mean girl persona too.)
5. Haruna (So gorgeous!)
6. Mizuki (She has a hidden sexiness to her and I like that. ^^;;)
7. Eripon (Just because she is in the bottom half of the list doesn't mean I don't like her; I love Eripon. Her expressions sometimes, though are a bit odd. - Ashley might kill me for saying that.)
8. Masaki (She was at #10 to me before this single, but she is quickly rising up my list... I feel like she might become in my top 5 soon...)
9. Ayumi (She's a beautiful girl, but I guess I just don't see what everyone else here sees. People say "She is a much better dancer than Riho," but I feel like it's the opposite. She has a long way to go imo.)
10. Kanon (She used to be my favorite 9th gen member and was the one I was rooting for in the auditions. But she looks so much like my sister that I feel weird looking at her sometimes. She is hilarious though and I do like her.)
