Well, they'll probaly hire a band to play during live concerts and the girls who passes the auditions are going to be the "image" of the band and such. Since I'm imagining that Tsunku's going to write the songs, they'll need some experienced musiciens to play them and drums and bass can be very hard instruments. Specially drums.

I don't think so -- Reina the idol is the product that they're trying to sell, and it's generally not a good idea to change a brand name that has very much recognition in your market segment unless you really have to.
