Wonder if they'll take care with line distribution on the cover tracks so that if we decide to double up on Berryz for Chou HAPPY SONG we won't have Momoko singing over Momoko, etc.

i don't see how this single is a "filler", they are offering a lot in this single for your money's worth. this song is very high quality to get its own physical release.

I'm not complaining, but I am kind of curious where all this money to pull off alternate versions of stuff is coming from suddenly. I mean, for a long time Up-Front skimped horribly on everything and now we're seeing remixes and PVs that look like they could've been put out by a normal agency. It's strange.

^ Money from loaning out old Ayaya songs to AKB maybe? Or maybe the dark ages when they were stringent with money, was simply them saving up for the time they would decide to splurge and promote their acts again.

Maybe now that they only have 30ish girls to worry about, money isn't that big of an issue? I dunno. I'm assuming current H!P and the OGs still under UF are under different branches. For the most part.

Most of the OGs don't even do anything, so.

I don't think that they are necessarily spending more money then a couple of years ago, UF is just spending it more wisely. There are still very low budget PVs, for example for S/mileage and MM recent PVs that are less expensive then already cheap PVs used to be. Their regular TV show changed into a series where the girls film themselves with cheap cameras. To name just 2 examples of budget cuts we have also seen in the last few years.

By saving money at these these things they can redirect the money to make some of the other PVs more professional.
