She's not my type at all lol, sorry. Sort of logical; most JunJun fans seem to like her.

JunJun is one of my favorites.. and i really like Haruna, but i haven't seen enough of her yet to be among my top.
things might change quickly come the next concert tour though, with Sayu and Reina being the only OG's left.. the rookie take-over is impending.

I'll join in on the post grad Momusu bandwagon.

1. Sayumi - She'll be my fave til she graduates... or Eri, Takahashi, or someone else I liked more rejoins.
2. Reina - She'll be my 2nd fave til Sayumi graduates or see above.
3. Riho - I'm a front girl lover. I love her confidence. My fave of the brats by a bit.
4. Masaki - I've a soft spot for her for some reason. She's cute and I'm thinking she'll grow to be really pretty.
5. Erina - Lately she's been reminding me why I wanted Tsunku to choose her in the first place.
6. Mizuki - She's my high expectations member. I counting on her to be a very solid member.
7. Haruka - Cute little girl. I think she can grow to be something else.
8. Haruna - She has a prettiness to her. She'll be a good fodder member.
9. Kanon - Funny and cute sometimes.
10. Ayumi - She's my least fave cause honestly she's the least cute. But I really wonder how she'll be if Tsunku does give her more of the spotlight.

There's no one right now in the group I dislike. Then again, there's less members than usual that I REALLY like.

Hmm post grad MM line up. It'd probably be easiest to give my top 3 but i'll try and place all of them on my current feelings.

1. Riho - She really is the emerging star of the group. She was the immediate talent of her generation and has only grown stronger as a performer over time her singing and dancing have taken a step up though it could be argued her talking isn't that good she doesn't really need to talk her look and talent on stage has already made her the next face of Morning Musume.

2. Haruka - One half of the new MM dynamic duo. There is something really special about this kid and it was evident the moment she appeared in the audition or even back when she was an Egg. She reminds me a little bit of early Aibon in that she's a natural at being entertaining. She's really confident being in front of an audience and thrives on it and she'll talk forever during interviews. She displayed a talent for dance in the auditions and while her voice was not that good at first it's improved since she joined the group so there is plenty of room for her to grow and improve. I can see her talking the main speaking and interview role when the senior girls are gone.

3. Erina - I actually didn't notice this girl much in the audition and i have a habit of dismissing girls too quickly before they show something that makes me like them. As soon as she cut her hair off and showed she has the skill to adapt to filling in a spot on a show with very little practice i fell in love with her. She has a weirdly cute look and personality that i just grow more fond of each day.

4. Reina - The current lead singer and one of the main faces of the group for a really long time now. I don't need to say much because we all know what she can do. She has the perfect look and personality to be an idol plus the singing voice and dance skill to be a lead girl in not just Morning Musume but in just about any idol group. She's lasted a long time in the group and there is a reason for it.

5. Masaki - Where the hell did this kid come from? The other half of the dynamic duo. Like Erina during the audition i dismissed her quickly as uninteresting and never imagined she'd get in. She's the Tsuji half of the duo kind of a surprise pick that nobody really expected. Didn't show too much in the audition that made her stand out and seemed to lack confidence. But then she got in the group and was with Haruka and she just changed completely to be really funny and hyperactive. She has a natural cuteness to her personality and provides an excellent foil for Haruka and it's been a while since we had a duo that had so much potential. Her talent on the piano also makes her stand out.

6. Mizuki - 6 and 7 are a little bit interchangeable because they are similar girls but i'm going with experience and the fact she is a more complete product at this point as far as performance skills. She has a pretty look and a refined personality along with a great smile. I think her ability in singing and dance has got better and there is still room for improvement there. Her look alone can sell goods though which makes her a useful member of the group.

7. Haruna - Again she's similar to Mizuki in that what she brings to the group is a marketable look. She has experience as a model and photographs well and has those long legs. I can see her goods sales picking up especially when she starts getting photobooks. Her singing and performing skills still need lots of work but i think she can manage it. Kind of like a Rika Ishikawa or Konno Asami bought in for a look over the fact she can sing or anything.

8. Ayumi - One that stood out in the audition for her dance skill and was somebody who i picked to get in. Though since she has i feel like she hasn't changed much and is just coasting by on her dance skills alone. She's kind of average looking and while her singing is decent it doesn't stand out much to me but hopefully over time we'll see a lot more from her in the future. But for not she's staying at number 8.

9. Sayumi - Okay now we are down to the two members i actively don't really like at all. I've never been a fan of Sayumi there is just something about her that kind of always rubbed me the wrong way. She looks kind of weird with that spaced out open mouth look she does where she just glares at people and her singing has always been poor and has never improved yet she's a front girl because the Wota love her sadistic egotisical TV personality. In short i'm not a Sayumi fan. Never was never will be.

10. Kanon - Sometimes i honestly wonder why she is in the group. When she got in i was really surprised and wondered if she had something i missed but to this day i don't see it. She's not particularly attractive to me and i always find her personality really annoying when she pulls stupid faces and makes random noises she's sort of like Woody Woodpecker but twice as annoying. I also don't think she brings anything special onstage her dancing and singing are very much average though overrated by her fans (Even often see her called a vocal powerhouse andi'm like whaaat?) So yeah she'll always be my least favorite member and my "What were you thinking UFA?" member.

Hmm this is all new Musume....didn't have any Favorite, Masaki seems natural cute i hope that this Idol World don't ruin her natural Personality...because she's still so young....
Haruka seems like a little brat, but i think it's good it spices things a little bit up more!
Ayumi is someone who i wouldn't notice in a crowd of different Girls......she seems so boring.
Harunas high Voice is Funny. Need to laugh every time. But really model-esque! Needs to gain some Fans with her future PB's
Mizuki is just there nothing interesting.
Erina is a strange person, but likable.
Kanon is a Funny Girl who seems to enjoy her Life as an idol, does what she want.
Riho doesn't seems that interesting it's a good dancer and good Singer but personality wise just boring.

All in one this new Morning Musume needs someone REALLY Outstanding IMO if they still want more Fans!

since everyone is doing the postgrad ranking i was wondering what aspect of morning musume appeals to you most?
For me it is Entertainment Factor then singing and dancing.
the girls that appeal to me most are Eripon, Rokkies, Masaki and Haruka. The other girls are entertaining as well, but i see these girls excelling at it.

I think i've always looked at the overall presentation of an idol. How well she plays her character and works as an idol. It's a fine balance but i really respect driven girls who work hard to refine who they are as an idol.

And after that i look at how well they perform live both singing and dancing. But for me an idols primary is always her character and it's what makes one stand out over the others. I think there are a lot of girls who just coast by on a cute look and acting cute and i dislike that one so when a girl develops her character and interesting quirks to go with it i find that much more fun to support. So i'm more of a fan of an Akari Takeuchi than a Karin Miyamoto

1. Reina - She is just getting better and better which says a lot because she's been amazing since she joined and she's STILL growing. Reinaaa <3
2. Riho??? - I LOVED her when she auditioned and then got really irritated with her voice very quickly and it bothered me that she was being pushed to the front when I personally thought her gen-mates were far better singers, but she's such a good dancer AND AFTER HER SINGING IN THE NEW SONG JUST HELP AH SHE'S AMAZING.
3. Fuku-chan - Lol because she's my birthday twin! But also because I think she and her voice are goood.
4. Eripon - She's so cuuuuute and I like her voice.
5. Zukki - Love her spunk and her voice.
6. Ayumi - I took an instant liking to her. She's just very likeable. Idk about her voice, but her dancing is great. I think her smile is adorbz.
7. Sayu - I never liked her, but I like her more when she's all robo'd. Her TV personality used to irritate me when she was younger and I guess I have yet to get over that xD But Eri always talked about how wonderful she is so I don't dislike her now.

Idk about the rest of 10-gen yet to be honest xD

Sayu and Riho are pretty far ahead as my top 2.
Mizuki has finally started stepping it up, i knew as soon as she did she would out-rank Eripon for me. and i think Ayumi will out-rank Mizupon over time, but i still need to see more from her (personality-wise, i'm already convinced performance-wise and in regards to looks). i still love Haruka to bits, and as much as i pretend to not care about Reina lately, i have liked her for a long time and the history alone (along with her vocal skills and inherit coolness) put her above anyone that hasn't been around for more than 2 years (excluding Riho, but can you blame me?).

Eripon is at an interesting cross-roads for me. i kind of like her chara, but at the same time it drops her in my ranking.. not because i don't like her, but because, while enjoyable, it just isn't the type of chara that keeps me rooting for her. she entertains me (like Zukki) and because she's cuter and cooler (sometimes) she ranks higher than Zukki despite the comparison, but if her chara doesn't evolve more gracefully i'm afraid she'll never break my top 5 again.

Haruna and Masaki.. i'm liking them both increasingly. i'm not sure if they'll ever rank above the others, though, because i'm liking them increasingly too. it's still much too early to say for sure, though.

and poor Zukki, fun girl, but just not the type of idol that gets my support. she's pretty solidly at the bottom for me. this is good, though. i don't dislike any of them, my biggest problem is deciding who i like more.

Kanyon would have ranked higher once upon a time.. as much as i sometimes enjoy their music, my interest in S/mileage as a group has just gone down. not enough to not pay attention to them or whatnot, just enough for their overall ranking to go down for me.

this ranking feels really strange though, without Gaki.. like something is missing (because it is TT^TT). also, in the past Momo would have ranked, but that's how far she's dropped for me.

Airi is pretty much undisputed my favorite.. i kind of feel like i like Riho a bit more than Sayu, but i'm sure that's only because i haven't been keeping up with Sayu as much lately (her blog and such). maybe now that she's leader i'll get to refresh myself on everything i love about Sayu~
