i still dont get why c-ute fans are so excited. i get this is there highest single and im a c-ute fan. Honestly not much changed other than people that did buys the singles anyway decided to get a box set or multiple copies this time, its not a new fan base like some people are saying its still the same.if anything it should of sold more.

I'm just soooo happy for simple reasons, the single is awesome, girls are looking amazing, promotion is at it's best and most importantly is that this proves that a group can be active for over many years and still make a great comeback and leave a mark in the musical industry today..

You're wrong theres more People who discovered °C-ute lately and there's much more Fans than like before a half Year. Trust me.
And please we are excited because it's doing so well....i think every normal Fan would be excited

So C-ute single finishes it's first week in between Ren'ai Rider and Ren'ai Hunter.

I am wondering if the UTB spread with Maimi and Mano Erina had an effect on sales?

im happy bout the sales but im not delusional bout thinking this changes anything . c-ute weren't in jeopardy of loosing anything they've been pretty steady since they debut. i dont think this being a ballad had anything to do with the sales but seeing as they made so many music videos you figure it would have done better just saying.

their latest singles were dropping down to the 19000-20000 mark which is probably what alerted the management and Tsunku...
They have had steady sales for long, but it was time for either a big flop or a big success to change things up and surprisingly it turned out to be amazing, which is why everyone is excited... it has been quite a while since we saw C-ute so overwhelming in the musical industry since being on the Top 5 for their whole first week is great exposure and all of the promotion and MVs participated in making more people notice them (this will hopefully make them curious for their next release = more sales for the 19th single)

^Agree why much speculating because of why did they get so Big Sales, enjoy °C-ute's success. And i'm sure they will get more Popular!
Youtube doesn't help that much either maybe for non-japanese Fans.....

It's really all about the promotion, maybe idolsuki's point of vue is only regrading the single as a song and a B-side, but fortunately for us, many people look into other factors like the covers, the Limited Editions, the events, etc...

We definitely have to be realistic that if the next single isn't as great and don't get any promotion, sales will drop again, but it's good to enjoy the current success

i dont think 40,000 is overwhelming by any means. Trust me i do get that for c-ute this is great and i think its great they got #3 but hopefully next single we can see some real changes in terms of numbers and success .

^Hopefully.....the other Idol Groups getting sales like 50K or more, but for the moment °C-ute's sales are great IMO, they need to break that next Time.
