Well they are an idol group so vocals aren't that important. Riho will prolly gets more lines and be the 2nd front girl to Reina, Sayu will get her part, and the rest will sing together. Unless Tsunku wants to push someone else forward, they have options.

Everyone in the group not named Reina, Sayumi, or Aika will probably sound different in a couple years anyway so it's not that big of a deal. They have multiple girls on the roster that with work can be front girls or at least strong contributors.

And I totally agree- I think 10th gen has vocal potential. 9th...err...I dunno...Mizuki maybe? But point being - how long will Reina be around? And can Morning Musume survive on Reina alone for a few years while Haruka grows into the ace

Nice Dance Shot! Proves, yet again, why Riho is a lead. She NEVER forgets her face. It's always on, no matter where she is in the formation. Half the girls go blank when they think they aren't the focus, and a bunch let their faces get lost in their hair during the downward pumps. Riho knows better. Ayu held her own amongst Riho and the main three with performing but her face is just nonexistent at this point.

From the live Talks, Erina has definitely learned a lot from Ohastar, and is one of the more charismatic, but it just doesn't translate to their performances, yet.
