I'm gonna have to agree with you there..and Gaki sounded so superb live as compared to studio recording (probably due to voice editing?) but isnt that always the case with concert rips ?
Ren'ai Hunter is AMAZING!!! Can't stop won't stop listening to this song but there are a few parts I could do with out. Riho's shouting line sounded so flawless but her studio recording line was very blah, it felt like there was no passion behind it. Sayumi's auto tune line should have been edited out because it does nothing for the song. Maybe if they gave her two or more lines like that it would have been fine but its just to random as a solo part.
I never said she was HORRIFIC OMG SO BAD just that she isn't all that and yeah, I hear her "screaming" a lot as well. I think she may have a deep, sultry voice like Risa, which I love, and it just isn't being used right when she's squeezed into the idol shaped box ya know.
I think overall 10th gen has a ton of potential, I just don't know if I get that same growth vibe from 9th ya know?
Riho's voice is no way near as deep as Reina's. But it's not so thin as most? of us thought when she joined. In the live version (especially in those mic-rips) she really delivers the no chikara with insanely much power. It's sad that they didn't do it the same way for the cd version. But I guess it's the same case like with 12, smart. Riho sounded whiny on mostly every track on that album, but live she's terrific. No one says she's amazing but she is really damn good.
