Sorry, but I don't see how this PV is any better an Ai no Dangan or Aa, yo ga akeru. All 3 of them for the most part are boring as hell. Oh, but they're dressed as super heroes so that makes it infinitely better somehow. It ain't like they did anything in them that they couldn't have done in street clothes. There were no special effects, no outrageous behavior, no nothing. They were just in super hero outfits and that's it. As for eye candy, Yurina looks really nice in this, and I could argue this is her best PV.

As for the song.... I kept my expectations low and it still ended up disappointing me. The chorus is the best part and it's just meh. I really can't stand the way the song starts. There's just really nothing interesting about this. It's like Momusu's baby chick song there's nothing that this song has to offer that makes me want to listen to this.

In my opinion:

Ai no Dangan: the worst dance they've ever had, no other dance comes close. It was filmed at Tsunku's garage or something. Really, my least favorite Berryz PV to date.
Aa, Yo ga Akeru: the girls looked bored, if they don't care about it then why should I? Also, strong worst H!P costumes ever candidate.

This video has a bit more variety in locations. Not A LOT, but it's still not just big mansion, or just big garage, and the different locations actually look really good. The girls are having fun, they're smiling. They all look great, the costumes are good, the location for the dance shot is fantastic and pushed me to pre-order Limited A (and B ) just because of the Night View Dance Ver.

Just compare this single's Chinami to last single's Chinami. It's night and day for me It's funny because last year I ranted about how much I'd like if "Berryz Kamen" would take over Berryz Koubou for their next single, and then it happened.

About the song, I understand it's probably not as strong as Aa, Yo ga Akeru which was really good, but Be Genki is more my kind of song and I genuinely can't it out of my head

^^Well even though I had low expectations for the song I was, for some damn reason, silly me, was hoping the PV would make me like it. I don't think it's different, but even if it is, it ain't different enough.

Yea Chinami has looked disinterested in the past 2 PVs. But to me, that's kinda just an issue with her. Maybe if she showed more energy she wouldn't be buried behind everyone else? (I'm kidding I like the kid, she's a sweetie)

...and besides, clearly we both have a bias spin on each of their past 3 PVs that plays a part on our opinions.

Anyway the other thing I didn't mention before was I'm surprised Momoko got so few lines in this. I mean, this is right up her alley. I love Miyabi, but this just seems like more of a Momoko song.

Yeah, I'm puzzled about Momoko not having that many lines in this as well. Still, Chinami and Captain get "main" lines so I find it difficult to complain I'm just way too pleased with this release. All it needs is a great b-side and I'm ready to rank it somewhere around my top 10 Berryz singles at the very least.
