[4/11] Morning Musume。49th Single「Ren'ai Hunter」DAILY no. 1!

How about 49 different covers, each one featuring a re-creation of an earlier single cover with the current lineup (à la ALL SINGLES COMPLETE)?

I would have so many mixed emotions about this .


EDIT: Just looked at the description for Risa's cover song. Sony Music Shop says that Risa chose the song herself.

Pretty annoyed she didn't get to 50th. If anyone deserved ending on the big FIVE-OH it would be Risa. She's the epitome of Morning Musume.

No she's not.

Several of the other members have been far more important/influential than Risa. For most of her time as a member she didn't... really do much of anything.

I'd say 1st gen (since they formed the group), Mari, Maki, 4th gen, Ai and maybe Reina have been the most important/influential members. In terms of stuff like popularity/bringing in fans/etc. Risa wasn't that popular for a long time, and she didn't help change the group much. The others did.

(Don't get me wrong. Risa's one of my favourites. But MM。would have been perfectly fine without her.)

The entire "purpose" behind MM is to find everyday girls and turn them into idols. It isn't about who is the most influential, or talented, it's about her exemplifying the entire goal behind H!P - and she does better than anyone else imo.

Risa started out an awkward, talentless 12 year old everyday girl and has become talented, beautiful, and well rounded as a classic idol.
You can't argue Goto is the epitome of MM, because she was anything but an everyday girl when she joined, and she really didn't grow much as an "idol."

The only ones that could give Risa a run for her epitome of MM title in my opinion would be Tsuji and Kago.

In other words, to turn them from nobodies to somebodies. Risa's still a nobody to 99% of Japan so I wouldn't regard her as an ideal example of a Momusu in that respect. Maybe Yaguchi.

Actually I called my friend Sayuri "Michishige Sayuri" and she corrected me saying "I'm pretty sure her name is Sayumi."
And she detests idol music so, that was interesting haha Apparently Sayu has broken into a household name somewhat.

Pointed something interesting about the description of the 49th Single on CDJapan. 
It says 3 Discs for LTD A, B and C .
Someone said it might be a typo but I checked other LTD CDs that have a DVD (48th LTD A, Shining Butterfly LTD) and the weight on both of them is 200g 
But on the 49th that supposedly will have 3 discs the weight is 280g

Maybe that extra 80 is for the weight of the 3rd Disc..


I wonder if the 3rd disc IS real what it's for...

One thing I can seriously see them doing, though: Single V also on Blu-Ray.

I've been thinking of this. It would be kind of awesome.
Also, a pain. o_o; I mean, collectors would want all 50 editions...
It would be so much awesome though.
But even if not 50, it would be cool enough to have them do 11 editions which each girl get the whole/center cover art thing. Similar to what they did to Ambitious... Only, better done? 8D

Bluray Single V's is coming, it's just a matter of when. xD
