Just watched J-Melo with 9kies. They are really solid, vocaly-wise. I wish they can sing together more often (one shot unit please).

Loved the opening and the Tsunku "cameo." But I got lost with the math stuff (my weakest subject...)

^^ Looks like that's the general idea (Niina being a badass at math), but there's other plot there.
In the next episode Sayuri will ask for Niina's tutelage, while Kazuki would prefer to continue trying to learn only from math books. Meanwhile Maimi's character ("Shibue Sana"?) is convinced that Kazuki is the culprit in a recent criminal offense (possibly having to do with biting and geek love? o-O)! Kazuki is adamant of his innocence, and Riina stands up for him (in a math battle, no doubt).

when sayumi's character is explaining the math thingy in the mathbattle thingy, and there is an animation thingy, her name is written as Sayumi * 3 * ... as opposed to Sayuri
