never paid attention to names in kanji but recently noticed that Kago's name in kanji and others Ai's names (Takahashi, Otsuka) are different O_o so Kago's Ai doesn't mean Love?

Kago's given name kanji are basically gibberish together. I understand that in past interviews she has said that she was named "Ai" by her parents because she was born out of wedlock, but I don't have any actual evidence to back that up.
Her name isn't literally "love" as Takahashi or Otsuka's are, but even so her nickname "Love Basket" isn't that far of a stretch. :laugh:

The did her appearance at Waseda University, and the surprise that had been being promised was: A performance of one of her new songs (as if no one saw that coming)!
The title is No Hesitation and it's described as "slightly idol-like with an adult feeling"
No fan recordings have surfaced yet.

It seems like a fun show, there was among other things - scattering of lollies, mini-dramas with Sugisaku J Tarou shown on the screen, a drinking game, the "Which will she choose...?" game and her new song.

Former Morning Musume member Ai Kago appeared on a television show on Sunday, and she mentioned on the air that she has set her sights on the high school exams.

Kago, who is now 20, was too busy with Morning Musume during her junior high years, so she never went on to high school. She said she is currently studying to take the tests. She also mentioned that she is attending English conversation classes and would like to go on to university.

Kago was twice caught in an underage smoking scandal and eventually dismissed by Up-Front Agency, though she was able to start her comeback earlier this year with a different management firm.
