I think the whole front two rows (the girls in matching outfits) are the girls that have been on the show as regulars since early on (ie, THE Possible, Affilia Saga East, the anime head girl, etc), and the girls in the back are all girls that auditioned for the Backstage Pass (and presumably passed the audition?). Certainly everyone that tried out didn't get in, because audition numbers went into the several hundred at least?
I'm sure this article addresses it somewhat, but I'm lazy/don't know Japanese.

The concept it is an idol training cafe, the audition winner will have to work at the cafe where they can earn "producer points". The more food and goods they sell the more points they earn, it's like a standard maid cafe procedure. But in this cafe the girls who earn the most points will get a chance to perform in the cafe or even become an actual idol. Tsunku even hints at some collaborations with H!P groups.

Out of the 1.000 girls that auditioned 80 girls were picked.

I don't think the Possible, or any of the other Tsuntube regulars will actually work in the cafe. Today they were just the "idol cast" "opening staff" that did a special live for the press event.

We'll probably see more about it on the next Tsuntube.

She never been on the show as an idol but as a fan and she was shown as one of the girls that auditioned. I could see her turning her Berryz Kobo fandom into a actual job working for Tsunku.

It's not about the new cafe, it's a registration of the Tsuntube Award 2011.

Surprise Surprise, Ishigura Aya makes an appearance as one of the hosts.


The awards are like those Korean Music TV show awards, they just give them out to the people that have been on the show until now.

They also show the number of points the girls have already earned, also in a monthly ranking. There you see that on 1st two days the most points were earned by regular girls and not by the idols. It doesn't look like the idols will be there on a regular basis, just every now and then.
