she sort of lacks energy..? i don't know how to put it :/ I don't want to be demagogical (is that even a word in english? i suppose not) but I've been dancing for 19 years now and.. she's really... flimsy? not energetic enough? lacks precision? hard to explain.

No, but "demagogic" is.

I hear you.

Spoiler: show
I'm just saying that she seems fairly better than the average youtube jpop cover dancer in terms of her timing and understanding of the steps, but she's basically deliberately dancing in a lackadaisical (non-energetic) style because that's how she feels like dancing and wtf it's just a crappy webshoot. Sort of like, how, say, Aichan might sing Happy Birthday to someone in an off-key style but you can still tell by the way she's being off-key that she's just being playful and not incompetent. I'm not trying to say she's Svetlana Zakharova, but I *am* saying she's better than Britney Spears, lol, in that she actually looks comfortable moving her body and isn't just lurching from one fixed pose to the next.

Here she goes again:

yeah but there are so much better dancers that do covers to invite on TV, that's all. we all try to have fun, we don't all get on tv. and nah, i don't think she could dance sharper if she wanted to. a lot of people are like that (myself among them). her videos are not as bad as the way she performed on tv so shyness could have been kicking in too.

the only words I have to express is that I don't find her to be "grounded" enough but that wouldn't make sense to people who haven't been taught dance by at least one teacher who uses that term (i've had several though so i suppose it must be pretty common)

But Zunu worded it pretty correctly, anyway, saying she has the timing and moves down. that, definitely, but being a good dancer goes far beyond that.

Lol, obviously Pavvy cares, enough to comment on it. Just everybody going "Oh isn't this nice," can get boring after a while, so I appreciate her opinion on the subject.

One more clip. Here I totally see what you mean about her being undisciplined, Pav, but somehow she still looks cool, and like 321 says, she's having fun. And come on, a non-ugly Japanese girl her age fanning on H!P, we definitely need more of them no matter how they dance.

Oh, I have no problem with her. I'm just surprised with her getting on TV.

Pretty sure she got on TV because she's cute as hell and looks like an idol, more than for her awesum dance skillz. And/or that freaking I-balance. But yeah, probably performing in front of Tackey and Tsubasa made her nervous as well.

Anyway, it would be awesome if they just had a spotlight show with all of H!P's most popular YouTube girl fans, xxxayu3, cuca, this girl, a couple others, and in the end they all performed a routine along with actual H!P members -- call it Mobekifansu.

She got on TV because she is not a 37 year old man shouting "L-O-V-E" --- I mean, in all honesty, there aren't many H!P female fans so they see a cute girl and think... free non creepy promo :thumbs-up:
