I believe the Kenshuusei Unit will add members, much like Ocha and Beyo added - now its a matter of knowing the number and from where (really curious to see if they add more trainees)

But the pattern feels like repeating itself:
Beyo started as 3, added 6 trainees and then 3 auditionees
Ocha started as 4, added 4 trainees and 2 auditionees
Unit started as 5, added 2 trainees and x auditionees??

^ I'd assume exactly the same. My guess is they'll add 3 here again. At least it seems like they want to hit double digits with groups now.

im thinking the same - a kind of rival group to Ocha with also 10 members, would love to see different colour shades but i assume 20 different colours seems to many (and i say this in the spirit of Kobushi and Tsubaki who all had different shades)

Ikuta Erina, who is the leader of Morning Musume. '24, has not missed a live concert or event in the 13 years since she joined Morning Musume. Makino Maria also hasn't missed a concert or event either (I think)

It is also the 10th Anniversary of when Morning Musume started adding the year to their name (2014).

Today, Ishida Ayumi broke Nakazawa Yuko's record as the oldest active Morning Musume member

Nakazawa : 27 years old, 9 months and 28 days (10,163 days) at the time of graduation on April 15th, 2001
Ayumi : 27 years old, 9 months and 29 days (10,164 days) today, November 4th, 2024

Ayumi is older than Eripon by a few months.

Ayumi is graduating a month and a day before her 28th birthday(January 7th). It'll be interesting to see if Eripon will surpass her next June. since her birthday(July 7th) is exactly 6 months after Ayumi's.

Revealed today at the Kudo Yumi/Endo Akari FC event.

The girls are 2nd cousins through their grandmothers, who are sisters. Akari knew but Yumi did not.

This is the 2nd set of cousins after Yajima Maimi/Takeuchi Akari, but first relatives to be in the same group together.


And in comment to Kudo's reaction. This is how she reacted to learning Akari was a Yumi fan.

Endo Akari added more today about her background on why she joined H!P. And also posted the two shot that they showed at the FC event. She also revealed that she auditioned for the previous audition, Hello! Project "Juice=Juice" "Tsubaki Factory" Goudou Shin Member Audition in 2021" but did not pass.

I'm curious when she told the company, hey, I know you let me know this group and I'm stoked, but did you know Kudo Yumi is also my 2nd cousin? Or did she have to disclose that info before joining? Did her parents tell them? Was their a written section on the application, "I'm related to a member currently in Hello!Project". I'm just really curious on how this all went down. When did they tell the other members?
