Yeah seems to me that Oda is saying that for better or worse, their public actions reflect back on the group and its reputation. Thus, Rio's public action requires a public response. Plus I'm sure she wouldn't be posting this on her own without management approval.

This is my theory about the Sayuki Scandal and how H!P handled it:

Apparently H!P knew of the relationship of Sayuki and the singer from when it started back in 2019. I have said it before; I believe H!P has a new rule instead of the 'no boyfriend rule', it is the 'don't get caught rule'.
This also shows with previous similar scandals with younger members who were suspended or just remained their activities.

Nobody's really demanding that Kitagawa eschew all relationships. It's just an unfortunate fact that - Japan being what it is - as part of her job, like all the rest of the girls she has to keep her romantic life under wraps. And if not, to face some consequences. A scripted scolding by sub-leader is just a tap on the wrist in the greater scheme.

The "no results" from the audition just makes me feel like they're gonna air drop members later in the year after observing the kenshuusei for a while. It's like saying "results to be delayed" rather than "no results" and part of me really just wants it to be over with. However; I get the feeling they want to let the spring graduations blow through before adding new members and maybe they want people to get invested in kenshuusei again to make guesses on where they'll go (usually ends in disappointment when people think a placement is sure-fire and UFP inevitably does something else.)

I'm sure Niina will be put in Angerme or Juice and people will flip out it wasn't Momusu or something. I'm not very invested so I hope it'll at least be funny.
