I'm not surprised Niina won BP, it would have taken an outstanding newbie to dethrone her! The two new KSS I was expecting the least from, Yume and Hikari, actually did really well, and Meisa's RED LINE looks amazing!

Niina winning BP is unsurprising given how stable she was from the start last year. Really hope perhaps this year she gets chosen to debut, In Anju or Juju or potentially Biyo if they think about becoming generational. Or maybe Yulia-Factory before they make their official debut. Lord knows 7 members is such an odd number to debut on.

Beyo and Ocha have concerts those two days, Niinuma's grad concert is 6/10, Uemura's grad is 6/14, and Sasaki's grad is 6/19. Morning Musume really is the only group which doesn't have something going on around then. Normally I'd be all for new members to shake things up, but MM is at 13 members with no planned grads. Well, announced grads, in any case. Any new MM gen would have to be like a single new girl unless there's about to be a slew of grads (e.g. fall and spring grads already in the works).

Maybe it is to give the new Kenshuusei some inspiration to stay. Sometimes Kenshuusei leave after the test. To show them, that they should be aiming for the flagship. They get meet Morning Musume. '24 backstage, and learn from them.
