H!P Kenshuusei Thread

As much as I'd like the new group just keep the current members my suspicion is there'll be another addition after the test. Because we just can't have a modern H!P group with under 10 members.

On the other hand, and as much as I'd also prefer Beyo not adding new members, if they do I'd actually rather they add a somewhat sizeable 2nd gen (like at least 3). Enough to be their own sub-unit really, but it'll be interesting to see how they handle that if/when it happens.

JJ can't add new members because I put them down as not getting new members in 2024 and I need to be right dangit Mifu still hasn't gotten her first single.

I don't see TF adding more new members either when the last ones still haven't debuted yet. So I'd probably put Soara as MM 18th gen unless she ends up in Beyo.


But really I just love all three of the 35th gen girls and as long as they all get to go somewhere, I'm cool

I think it's far too late in the year to add new members to the New group.
Ocha Norma Line up set 8 months b4 debut
Beyo line up set 8 months before debut
TF line up set 6 months b4 debut
KF line up set 8 months before debut
J=J line up set 7 months before debut (minus Otsuka Aina)

If they add new members now, we're looking at a 2025 Debut. Maybe they decided to not compete with Me:I.

I don't want J=J to add new members either but the fact remains that they've added at least 1 new member every year since 2017.

TF is the perfect choice because the new members haven't had their debut yet. She'll be the 4th member(Like Fuku-chan). KSS have a better chance of hitting the ground running.

Tbh I don't want to see any new members in Biyo or Ocha.
IMO (imo, imo!!!) H!P has enough "generational" groups, and not every group needs more than 10 members at any given time.

Can't tell if this is serious or not (inflection is hard to tell online!) but I... seriously doubt Up-Front is looking to compete with ME:I.
Even if they were, I think they'd be barking up the wrong tree. I won't say anything else about that, lol.

The fact they haven’t solidified the new group leads me to believe they want to add some more Kenshuusei but are way for the test to make it official on who that might be. We might even be graced with a new group name!

As expected Niina won Best Performance. So she's safe from joining Morning Musume. Please Put her in J=J.
Soara, I think the best place for her would be AKB48 theater. I wonder if UpUpGirls is an option.
Toa was slightly less terrible than last year. At least she could hold the mic correctly this year. Poor sense of rhythm, So Morning Musume future member. She did challenge herself with her self produced song, that's a plus.
