Your recuperation time can definitely vary--if the teeth were fully impacted and need to be broken up before extraction, you're in for a much worse time.

(I never actually grew any wisdom teeth myself , but my husband's extraction experience was absolutely awful.)

I went back to work after getting my top two wisdom teeth removed. I had two tea bags in my mouth and was just taking over the counter pain meds. Also I was young and an idiot. I should have gone home. But I wanted money and to save my time.

I was lucky that I didn’t have any issues.
