I'm happy with the colours and all, but I just wished Yuu's pink was not light pink, but instead hot pink so that way every past and present members would have a different colour each.

Wow, Yuu was my favorite on first impressions and she got my favorite color.
I strongly dislike when they pull the "this color is totally distinct and not the same thing with a different name" business so while Bright Green is a wobbler I'm happy we still haven't progressed to the "pure" reds and "sea" blues. Looks like they tried to keep the lighter colors from the first 9 members which is GOOD. Always hated that J=J dropped fruits.

Tsubaki Factory new members Ishii Mihane, Murata Yuu, and Doi Fuka interviews (excerpt)

Ishii Mihane
-- This is your second time for you to audition.
The first time I tried to audition for Morning Musume, but I was not selected in the preliminary screening.
I had always loved Hello! Project and wanted to be a member of a group.
So I challenged myself again for the 25th anniversary audition.

-- What made you fall in love with Hello! Project?
I was in the 5th grade of elementary school, and when I saw Sato Masaki in a recommended video on YouTube, I was hooked by her charm. Since then, I've been thinking..... I wanted to be a member someday!
I was really happy to pass the audition.

-- You must have gone through a very rigorous screening process.
I had been dancing for nine years, but I had never sung before, so it was tough. But during my Self-Introduction PR in the third round, I showed off my soft finger joints. That was accepted a little (laughs). That's when I started to gain confidence.

-- not dancing or singing!?
That's strange right (laughs). But in the fourth round of judging.
I still couldn't sing....... so I screamed out loud when I found out I passed!

-- That's different from my image (laughs).
I have the advantage of being quite energetic, and I am surprisingly active (laughs)!


Murata Yuu
-- Yuu-san, you have wanted to be an idol since you were a little girl!

I wanted to be an idol or talent. I kept on auditioning for about 20 companies besides Hello! Project since I was in elementary school. So this time, I finally passed the audition!

-- You had been to so many auditions that you felt impatient and responsive as the screening process progressed.
I felt a sense of urgency and practiced anyway because I had to be judged on a song I was not good at. But during practice my voice came out wrong, and suddenly I was able to do it without any mistakes during the performance. I felt a little confident that I could do it.

-- Did you wait until the acceptance announcement?
I was told I had been accepted! Even after I was told that I had been accepted, I thought, "I can't just sit here and relax, I have to practice right away. It just happened to work out. I'm not done yet!"

- You're going to be working in earnest from now on, and you will be leaving your hometown.
I felt a little lonely, but my dream has finally come true and my family is supporting me.
The strength to try auditioning again and again and the desire to absolutely pass the audition.....
I will never lose in positivity.
As a member of Tsubaki Factory, I will do my best to work hard and perform well.


Doi Fuka
-- My mother is a big fan of Tsubaki Factory, and I've been a gifted student since I was a child.

I always had Tsubaki Factory's music playing at home and in the car. So while I was listening to it all the time, I fell in love with it too. I loved it so much that I decided to audition for the 25th anniversary. I definitely wanted to join Tsubaki Factory in the 25th anniversary audition! So I took on the challenge.

-- I'm sure your mother was the most pleased with your success!
She was jumping up and down with joy (laughs)!
And I cried a little bit.

-- You look forward to being a member of a group that your family also loves.
But I had no experience in singing or dancing. I've only been swimming for about four years."

--If you can swim, wouldn't that help with dancing because your body would be soft?
I'm not a very good swimmer (laughs).
I'm also really bad at singing, so I sing in front of my father at home, and he checks me on what I'm doing wrong.
