HELLO! PROJECT 25TH ANNIVERSARY NEW MEMBER AUDITION : Results announced

3 members means 11 after Kisora graduates which is kinda high for my tastes, none said their best/special/whatever they were talking about was skill was singing, and they're all really young. It's going to take me at least a year before I warm up to new members again especially with how glacially slow H!P's music releases are. I'm running low on brain space for recognizing new idols but I'll try and learn their faces so I can at least enjoy Tsubaki Factory. Hope their member count doesn't get above 12 cuz that's when I start getting disinterested.

Otherwise...glad that no other groups got members because Hello! Project feels bloated. Comparing Hello! Con to 2014 to now...lol I cannot for the life of me put all the names to faces or even all the names into their groups anymore. I'm sticking to 2-3 H!P groups these days.

And like...I thought they'd announce literally ANYTHING about H!PKU'24? Just do it already?!? Happy they didn't add members because 7 is enough but JUST DO IT ALREADY, ugh. Give me Onna de Chikyuu wa Mawatteru and Daisuki Dakedo Tsukiaenai.

edit because I realized after I deleted a sentence saying I'm basically sure H!PKU'24 will eventually get more members I simply like to enjoy there being a 7 member group in H!P for longer.

I love the new Tsubaki additions, was actually thinking they would add 4, but 3 is a good number. I can't wait to see them in action, I just need to grow a bit more on Mihane though. She does remind me of Tsugunaga for some reason.

I'm also curious and excited about Shimakawa and Asano and hope they have a quick debut. Maybe after the kenshuusei recital? I would actually love to see those two in the new unit.

It seems that Doi Fuuka was 1 of 114 final candidates (Copying Produce 101) in the televised audition called "IDOL3.0 PROJECT" by Akimoto Yasushi, where the new group White Scorpion was formed. All the audition candidates used alias names (I guess its Waack thing), and not their real names. Doi Fuuka used the name "Gumi" (Said she loves gummies). She was eliminated in the early stage of the audition and was not chosen to be in the 11 member White Scorpion group. White Scorpion is backed by a Cryptocurrency company. Before that she was a big fan of NMB48 and even auditioned. Her favorite food is tomatoes.

Each finalist had a twitter and Instagram account of their own to promote themselves and her account is still up with lots of selfies and Instagram videos of herself since August 2023.

This audition was going on at the same time as Produce 101 Japan the girls. The "IDOL3.0 PROJECT" used a similar process, training camp, voting system etc.

I guess this is her fallback option, since she her dream was to be an idol. It must of been tough to go through the "IDOL3.0 PROJECT" training camp then go through the Hello Project audition training camp back to back.

We should be thankful that Doi Fuka was not selected for WHITE SCORPION, because they aren't off to a great start.

This time, three new members who passed the audition will join the group, bringing the total number of members to 12. For Kasai, Yagi, Fukuda, and Yofu, it will be our first time having junior members and they may not be familiar with some things, but we would like to support the three new members so that they can enjoy and grow in their activities.
