Y'know, it is possible that she's simply grown up and her priorities have changed. There's no particular reason why a little girl's fantasy of being an idol should survive her teenage years. She's reached that age when she's more aware of the idol/wota relationship, and she has to do decide what to do with the rest of her life after school, so…

I believe that reason when it comes to girl who's just a glorified backdancer in their group, but not one who's the front girl and is going to get a push and get work. That and the fact that answer is too simple, conspiricy is better!

Now, I don't think I can't take this anymore, Yuuka was not only important to me, but it was one of Hello Project's most popular members, she was center on the mobekimasu PV a couple times and had lots of screen time.

There goes one of H!P's best girls... I hate it...

I chock most idol grads up to this. When you become and adult and are exposed to the real world - you realize things. Like the wota. Remember Rika's reaction to them?

Fact is - WOTA ARE FUCKIN' CREEPY!! If you think these girls enjoy sitting down shaking hands of 40 year old men that they know are possibly thinking inappropriately about them, then you are hella naive to the Japanese culture.

Secondly, these girls know that the idol gig wont last forever. Sayu is probably the only one that will be around when she's 40 still earning her living as an ex-idol. Mari and Tsuji have done well with their post-idol entertainment careers, but let's be honest, most of these girls wont be anything more than a once every two year "Ex-momusu reunion!," even less now bc frankly nobody in Japan cares about these new girls. Yuko can ride the "I led the Love Machine" train, but Zukki? Nah, she's screwed. She will need a real job one day.

Konno was smart, realized this wouldn't last forever, and got a real degree and job. In fact I'm 99% sure she is the only Musume to get a degree.

So I agree, YuYu probs just got fed up with the WOTA and idol life bc it wasn't what her 9 year old fantasies thought. On top, she probably realizes the S/mileage thing wont last forever and wants to get stable with her idol money now before it's too late to get a good education.

Sounds right to me. She always did seem like the sensible one, helium voice and elfin features notwithstanding.

N o o o o o o o o o o oooooo.

I was just starting to really really love her. @_@

Oh, but I totally respect that she's going to further and focus on her education. I'll miss her, but I definitely think she's making a good decision.
