Honoka is already recognized as one of Japan's top pianists.

"TEPPEN 2024 Winter" Piano Competition 1.13.24

full show
https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV155411i7Qj/

Hello Pro's #1 Piano player BEYOOOOONDS Kobayashi Honoka. The competition includes the youtuber Yomii (he returns from last time), TikTok Music Creator Award Winner Ensaka Megu, an Announcer, a young elementary piano prodigy, a kid piano youtuber Sou-chan, and the piano player that Kobayashi Honoka lost to last year in the final Nanohana.

Tsunku appears as a scoring judge.

1st stage : VS. Battles. Both players play the same tough song given, and must have less than 3 misses or it's over. The Winner of the battle gets 5 points. That 5 points is crucial for the final score in the next stage.

Kobayashi Honoka's 1st stage starts @ 3:13 :

https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV155411i7Qj?p=8

Spoiler: show
Kobayashi tries to get her revenge. Her battle is against a former Japanese self-defense army member and army band member's no.1 pianist, turned piano youtuber "Hibiki Piano"

The song they have to play was released in 1995. It is "Zurui Onna" by Sharan Q. Kobayashi was excited to hear that was going to play a Tsunku song.

Hibiki Piano misses 3 times in his play. All Honoka has to do is play and survive the song without getting the 3 misses or she'll be eliminated with Hibiki Piano too. The pressure is on for Honoka to play the song in front of Tsunku. Right after the commercials.

Honoka plays "Zurui Onna" and survives with 2 misses! Tsunku applauds and nods his head. She gets the 5 points for winning the battle. Tsunku comments and praises her.

Next stage is the solo "Free Performance" VS. Battles, and this time the 8 judges need to give a score (out of 100) to the players. They total the judges scores. The players choose any song they want to play. Tsunku is not a judge you can impress easily lol. You'll see his low scoring throughout and it is pretty harsh.

Spoiler: show
The young elementary school piano prodigy player had the highest score throughout and held it while every player is trying to beat her score. She is beating all the adult piano players. She was finally beaten by the other elementary prodigy kid Sou-chan, who played the Pirates of the Caribbean theme song. He currently sits on the throne. Tsunku gave him a score of 98 and also praised him. The judges gave him a couple of 100 scores.

The last two players are the finalists from the TEPPEN Summer last year, Kobayashi Honoka and Nanoha. Sou-chan has to see if these two will beat his score.

Kobayashi Honoka's free performance starts at 5:28 and continues into the next part. She plays the song "Aitakute Ima" by MISIA (2009). The announcer re-iterates that she has to play in front of Tsunku.

https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV155411i7Qj?p=16

After her play, the judges were impressed and applaud. Tsunku and Harumi-chan nod their heads too. Tsunku comments and praises Honoka again. Honoka cries into her handkerchief. Honoka's score after the commercials.

After the commercials, Tsunku immediately comments "I'm so nervous" and everyone laughs. He even tells Honoka "Get that TEPPEN Girl!"

After all that praise, guess what, Tsunku gave her a 95...Thats pretty low Tsunku :o :| Honoka didn't get a score of 100 from any of the judges. Her total is 782. The kid prodigy remains at the top with the 794. Honoka gets some comments from the judges. Honoka is defeated and comes in 4th place (Piano player Shiori had 783)

The final two is the kid and the current champion Nanohana
https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV155411i7Qj?p=18

Nanohana didn't get any score of 100, and lost by 4 points (790). Tsunku gave her 98.

The kid Sou-chan is the new TEPPEN Piano champion.

Hello! Project no Chotto Omoshiroi Hanashi ~Kimi ni Tsutaetai Monogatari Season 3~ #104

Morning Musume. '24 Sakurai Rio says whenever she has free time, she watches videos of Hello! Project and listens to a lot of Hello! Project songs since she loves music. She shares a story about watching the Hina Fes. concert DVD with her mother. Sakurai had her hair in a side-ponytail for that concert, and her mother started pointing things out about her hair sticking out. Sakurai didn't know what she meant, but looking closer, it was the cord for her ear monitor that runs on the back of her neck to her ear. Then both of them discussed whether it was trendy to have one line of hair stick out like that. Her mother still didn't see it as a cord.
