I don't think I can express how pleased I am right now... but not until holiday 2009? I'm going to cry.

I have a GBA for my Gameboy and GBA titles, and all of the other things about it are so awesome (3.0mp camera, plz).
How is it that I didn't know about this until now? And how is it that Play-Asia wants $300 for a $180 machine?


I'm also a little worried that the Japanese system might not be able to do the USA downloads once they become available?

I don't get why they bother with region locks anymore... the world is a much smaller place because of the internet, they might as well do the hardcore peeps a favor and make all the content region free, not just the games

I noticed that one I got home. Guess I'll just have to wait (since I don't foresee myself wanting to try to hack my DSi). The better-ish news though is that Wiki says a US release is slated for Jun 11, 2009? Though it's sourceless... it's still somewhat probable, given the Spring 2009 releases for EU and AUS.

The DS Ware games should better be awesome, that'd be my only reason for getting one >_< I don't see how the cameras could make such a difference for games. According to IGN, the DSi's sound is much better than the Lite's O.o I guess they decided to improve the sound quality now that it'll officially play music. I guess that's another good reason to get one ^^

Not confirmed as of yet. I'm sure you can see the issue with the DS lacking the needed amount of buttons to play an emulated Nintendo 64 game. My hope is that we may see the 8bit and 16bit games travel over, though.
