I only get 18 girls though

I read it as three girls plus any ties. So that would mean a mess of girls are leaving. But I’ll wait to hear from the judges before finalizing the bingo cards.

First of all, let me make clear that boinsie's the only judge, I'm just playing the same as everybody else.

Second, I think she was just clarifying the standard way that ties work in contests. If the low score wins and you have

A scoring 1,
B and C with 2,
D with 3, and
E with 4,

then in the event that the highest three get eliminated, then it's four people, BCDE, who get eliminated. Why? It's clear D and E are gone, but since you need to eliminate one more person, and can't choose between equally scored B and C, they both go.

And if

A,B, C score 1
D scores 2
and
E score 3, then everybody gets eliminated. Again, it's clear that D and E are gone, but since you can't pick between any of A,B, or C, they all have to go.

But if

A and B score 1,
C scores 2 and
D and E both score 3

then only CDE get eliminated. Once you have those three members, you've fulfilled the goal of eliminating three, so there's no need to look at the AB tie.

I understand but at the same time. It’s difficult for me since I have dyscalculia so anything with numbers involved is a real struggle.

We end up with some counting challenges almost every year so I think we all struggle from time to time. Was it last year that someone ended up using a spreadsheet?
