^ I guess in my head I always imagine there's a full concert orchestra sitting there doing those instrumentals. But I guess that would just be extravagantly wasteful in a studio setting when you can just hire a few people to overdub 1st and 2nd violin and other string parts however many times it takes to achieve an orchestral effect.
