I was expecting the choreo to be a little more challenging. Although, who can tell? The camera sliced up the dance break so much, it could've been a "chopped and screwed" throwback. Dude, when people are doing fancy footwork, we want to see the feet work, sheesh. On the plus side it was bright, sea-breezy and looked like a fun time was had. Good for them. Next time I'm in Japan getting my hair styled, I promise I will go to LIPPS.

[Surprise] Happy news from reporter BEYOOOOONDS Takase Kurumi to Kiyono Momohime!


Kiyono Momohime and JUVENILE, the artist music producer talk box player who inspired Kiyono Momohime to start talk box, will release a collaborative talk box cover song "Ureshii! Tanoshii! Daisuki!" for digital download.

Here is a video of Takase informing Kiyono of the decision.

A special music program called "Uta no Shin Top Ten" aired on Nippon TV today, November 6th. The program included 4 performances of Showa pops covers, which will be released in the cover album "Shin Cover produced by Uta no Shin Top Ten".



"Uta no Shin Top Ten" introduces the "New Top Ten" songs selected by people in their teens and twenties from the Showa era pop music sales ranking by genre. In this music variety show, new generation artists sang cover versions of the songs in the ranking, including MANON performing "Koi no Dial 6700" by Finger 5, ANGERME Kamikokuryo Moe performing "Aoi Sangoshou" by Seiko Matsuda, and Sonoko Inoue performing "Sayonara" by Off Course and KAF performed "Christmas Eve" by Tatsuro Yamashita.

Arrangements are by yonkey (Klang Ruler) for "Aoi Sangoshou" and "Sayonara" and by BCDMG for "Christmas Eve". The cover of "Aoi Sangoshou" by Kamikokuryo Moe is available only on the download service, while the other three songs can be previewed on the subscription service.

In addition, a music video of "Aoi Sangoshou" cover by Kamikokuryo Moe is now available on NTV's official YouTube channel. This work is the first of a series of "thin music videos" based on the concept of introducing new technologies and trends into music videos, and was produced by the creative studio DISCO, which handles everything from advertising work for domestic and international companies to artist promotions.
