One of the only good things to come out of being semi-absent for this long is the backlog of "Harodori" episodes. I should have enough to make a nice little snack-filled night of it. Really excited the new Unit is getting their own song too. I hope it sounds nothing like "Mistake", I want them to feel different.

This week, We'll be introduced to new Kenshuusei, along with their first vocal and dance lessons. Footage of OCHA NORMA's appearance at the idol event "POP FES. 2022", and the dream collab of Tsubaki Factory Yofuu Runo x Sato Masaki.

- They start by teasing us with the new Kenshuusei entering the studio.
- We have two Kenshuusei joining as 34th gen. From Okayama pref., 15 years old, 1st year high, Shimoitani Yukiho (Pronounced Shimoi-tani ; 下伊谷幸穂 ; しもいたに・ゆきほ). She likes to eat parfait. And from Kagoshima pref., 13 years old, 1st year Junior high, Kamimura Rena (上村麗菜 ; かみむら・れな), she is a cat lover. They both want to grow and become idols. Both of them have dance experience and are ready-to-work talent. Kamimura = 3 years of dance : Girls Hiphop, Jazz Funk, K-POP, Shimoitani = 9 years of dance.
- They will be unveiled at the September 2022 Kenshuusei Recital.

Kamimura has the cuteness of Kamikokuryo Moe. Have they found a diamond, gem in the rough?








- They introduce themselves to dance instructor Mitsubachi-sensei. "Shimoitani" is a rare surname that even Mitsubachi had to ask to hear it again. Then they start their dance lessons. They practice their rhythm first to the song "Ain't too proud to beg" by TLC. Their rhythms are good and dancing is high level. Then they move to more intense rhythm songs.
- The two of them show Mitsubachi how much they practiced their required songs "Zettai Idol Sengen", and "Isshakudama de Buppanase!" by Hello Pro Kenshuusei. They were both good and didn't make mistakes. Mitsubachi gives them dance advice on practicing their rhythm count by listening to the Karaoke track. They both jot down the notes quickly. I think they caught Mitsubachi-sensei on a good day, because she was nicer on that day and impressed by them.
- Next, they begin their vocal lessons with Ueno-sensei. They are separated by a vinyl covering. First, they are taught how to hold and use a microphone. They are asked to sing a sample of "Itsumo to Onnaji Seifuku de" (Morning Musume.), so Ueno can get evaluate their voices. First is Shimoitani singing. She has the lyrics in her hand. Ueno applauds her singing. Next is Kamimura, and her voice is a little quiet, but Ueno says it's okay. They sing really good. They just need work on increasing their volume. Ueno-sensei gives them advice on bringing their voice out from their belly. They try the song again using the technique, and then Ueno applauds them.
- After the lesson, they talk to the camera about their first lesson. They said it was interesting, and the teachers are nice. They are friendly as they look at each other. This was actually their first visit to Tokyo. They said people in Tokyo walk and talk very fast and even eat very fast. They both laughed. Shimoitani is taller than Kamimura. Kamimura is tiny, but she is level headed.



Shimoitani Yukiho was part of Theater Academy Okayama School when she was younger, and was even part of a dance team at the school in 2016.

- Next, they show behind the scenes from OCHA NORMA's appearance at "POP FES. 2022" in Toyosu PIT on July 25th. They show the usual backstage interviews of OCHA NORMA. They are asked about how they feel about performing for Pop Teen magazine's first idol event. They talk about the make-up and fashion tips they get from the magazine.
- Five minutes before the show, they do their circle huddle (This time it was a much quicker version).
- They show a digest of each song they performed at the event.

- Dream Collab : Tsubaki Factory Yofuu Runo x Sato Masaki epic performance of "Utakata Saturday Night!" Yofuu Runo's voice is smooth.

This week, a closer look at Hello Pro Kenshuusei Unit '22's first lesson together in the studio, OCHA NORMA have a meeting for the first time in awhile, and footage of their "Mistake" performance.

- Hello Pro Kenshuusei Unit '22 will prepare for their unveiling performance @ JAM EXPO 2022 on August 28th. They begin their first dance lesson with Mitsubachi-sensei and start with the basics. Murakoshi Ayana is absent. Mitsubachi tells them to "Aim to become the #1 Idols in the World". Mitsubachi teaches them a dance and even dances alongside them. Mitsubachi has been using a lot of TLC music lately. She used the song "Unpretty" and "It's Sunny" for the lessons.

- Hello Dream announces BEYOOOOONDS 2nd album release on 9/28.

- Hello Pro Kenshuusei Unit '22 then begin vocal lessons with Ueno-sensei, also go back to the basics. She challenges them to read and sing a song with English lyrics. The song is "We're All In This Together" from High School Musical.
- They listen to the song once and read the lyrics. Then they play rock, paper, scissors on who will attempt to sing this English only song. Hashida, then Uemura, Matsubara, and Onoda. They sing a few lines and they were okay.
- Ueno then tells them to get a chair and gives them a lesson on vocals. She tells them to say the Osaka dialect word "Nandeyanen" and notice what comes out of their vocals. She wants them to apply it to the English word "Together".

- OCHA NORMA have a post-debut meeting to discuss ideas on how the group can take the next step. It's important for the group to openly discuss their ideas with each other and solve each other's issues.

Next week Hello Dream will be closely following the rehearsals for the September 2022 Kenshuusei Recital. The new Kenshuusei will meet the rest of the Kenshuusei.
