Hello! Project's new idol group, OCHA NORMA, will debut on the 13th with the single "Koi no Crouching Start / Omatsuri Debut da ze!" Ishiguri Kanami, 18, from Hokkaido, said, "My dream is finally coming true. I'm glad that I had the desire to become an idol in Hello Pro and never gave up.

The road to their debut was a long one. in 2019, four members, including Ishiguri and Saito, formed the Hello Pro Kenshuusei unit, and in December of last year, the number of members was finally increased and the group's name and major debut as a 10-member group were decided.

Ishiguri, who became a trainee in 2016, took six years to complete the program. "There were times when I thought about quitting. I really couldn't see what was ahead," she recalls. Saito said, "I cried a lot with everyone, wondering what would happen to us. That is why the bond among the members who overcame the difficulties is so strong, she says.

Our dreams are big. Ishiguri said, "All 10 of us come from different hometowns. I want to tour in all of our hometowns," and Saito says, "I want to win the Japan Record Award for Best Newcomer," and 15-year-old Momo Kitahara says, "I want people to say 'OCHA NORMA' when they think of Japanese idols.

The goal is clear: "I hope we can be as energetic as our name suggests. Ishiguri says, "I want everyone to see our freshness and incompleteness that can only be experienced now, and to see us working hard toward a bright future.

The girls have a bright future ahead of them.
