Endou Akari got to have her first conversation with Ebata Kisaki. She couldn't believe it was happening. Also the other day, she rode on an airplane for the first time. She was scared that they were getting further far away from the ground, so she closed her eyes the whole time.

First Voice Training

Hey everyone! Good evening! Sakurai Rio here.

Thank you so much for all the warm comments and likes on yesterday's blog

I was so happy to see so many comments of congratulations!

Definitely, because I look a little different with my hair down...?

I hope to be able to tell you a little bit more about myself that I haven't been able to share with you yet on this blog, so please look forward to my updates, I'd be happy!

I went to my first voice training yesterday!! I was very impressed to hear low and high tones that I had never heard before, and to realize that I can produce such a range of tones. I was very moved by this experience.
I think the basics are important in singing, so I want to review a lot at home and make an effort to build on that in the future.

And today we had a rehearsal! I was asked to MC during the concert, and I learned how to hold the microphone, tone of voice, standing position, etc... and many other things! I'll be sure to absorb everything I'm about to learn, one thing at a time!

I noticed something yesterday when I saw Sakura-chan's post!

♡ The first is "Aa-tan"!

I have been called this since I was a little girl.

For me, it is the nickname I am most familiar with.

♡ The second is "Akari"!

I had Garrett popcorn today.

Garrett popcorn is something I'd be tempted to eat if there was a store where I went out.

Each piece is big and I love it!

If I find butter soy sauce popcorn sold at movie theaters and other places, I'll be tempted to eat it too!

What else would you want to eat if you saw it?

Is there something that you would like to eat if you saw it?



Also.

I recently got a pair of white sandals.

It's a little thick-soled, and I don't usually wear thick-soled shoes, so it's embarrassing that I get a little squeaky just about every so often.

Also, there's a lot of shoe rubbing.

So much to learn

Good evening everyone! I'm Sakurai Rio.

Today I had a photoshoot and an interview for a magazine~!

I'm still getting used to posing, but I'm sure I'll be doing more photoshoots in the future, so I'd like to get used to it little by little!

I was interviewed by UptoBoy! It will be on sale on July 23th this month, so I hope you will take a look!

I also practiced how to write my signature... I'm not very good at it yet, but...I'll practice at home.



And our makeup artist taught me a thing or two about hair and makeup! I learned a lot of new hair arrangements, so please look forward to seeing the hair arrangements at the Nakano Sunplaza performance next week!

It's been really hot lately, so we have to be careful not to get heat stroke! Well then! See you again tomorrow!

My first rehearsal

Today was our first rehearsal!

I was very nervous and could not smile well.

I'm sure I'll be even more nervous in the real thing, so I'm going to try my best to give it my all!

And it was my first time seeing the seniors perform live!
It was so cool and powerful, and I could feel that everyone was enjoying themselves, so even though I was nervous, before I knew it, I was having fun!

I thought it was amazing how a performance alone could bring smiles to the faces of those watching!

I was really, really impressed.

I will do my best not to drag my feet in future performances with my seniors.

I was able to take pictures with Arisawa-san, Irie-san, and Ebata-san!

Today, I will post a photo of me and Arisawa-san.



Today, Arisawa-san called me "Aka-ringo" (red apple)

Surprisingly, I like it a lot!

I hope you will continue to call me that, Arisawa-san

I've learned so much today!

I'll do my best from now on.

Today, I saw Akari-chan for the first time in awhile.

I took a picture!



I was so nervous to talk to you when we first met that I forgot about a picture.

Next time I see her, I'll get a shot of her for sure! I was determined to get a good shot.

I am happy.

It was great to see the seniors' powerful performing in front of me.
It's amazing how powerful it is off stage, but seeing it in front of you, it's twice as wonderful.

My hair was dancing with my fingertips and my body, and when I was asked to perform with them, I felt again that I should stand on stage without being conspicuous and without shame as a member of the group.

And! And!

Dambara-san gave us croissants.

It was very delicious!

Thank you, Dambara-san!

I like cooking very much, but I have never made bread before, and I can't try because I'm afraid I'll fail at fermentation!

I want to make bread with Dambara-san!
