Kamikokuryo Moe charms with her singing ability and school uniform, appearing in the McFlurry Kit Kat commercial for the third year in a row.

The new commercial for "McFlurry Kit Kat" and "McFlurry Kit Kat Strawberry," called "Spring First" (Haruichiban), is a collaboration between McDonalds Japan's "McFlurry" and Nestle Japan's "Kit Kat," starring Kamikokuryo Moe of the idol group ANGERME, will be broadcast nationwide starting on the 23rd.

This is the third year in a row that Kamikokuryo has been featured in this commercial. This time, Kamikokuryo is playing a high school girl, who glances from behind her cup at the person she likes, who has started chatting with a girl she doesn't know. At the end depicts a scene of youth where she summons up the courage to say, "Ah, um.......!"

The background music will be "Haru Ichiban" by Candies, and is sung by Kamikokuryo, whose vocals mesmerize the audience, creating a spring-like atmosphere. A long version of the special movie was released exclusively on the web, and it shows the recording session in a school uniform.


Kamikokuryo said, "I'm very happy to appear in the commercial for McFlurry for the third year in a row," and looked back on the filming, "During the filming, the staff made paper cherry blossom petals fall, and when I saw them fluttering around, I felt like I was anticipating spring, which made me very excited."

Here's the Q & A portion. This time I tried translating their episode opening remarks as well. The Q&A was a little different than previously. The last question for each girl was given for them to do some self-promotion.

Mayonaka ni Hello! episode #6 2.17.22

The episode starts with the song "Yume de Do Up" by Berryz Kobo playing throughout this whole scene : Okunaka Yujiro (Actor Goto Takenori) is sleeping in his rental room at the Sun Plaza Asanuma inn. Misaki (Ohara Yuno) walks in and tells him to wake up. At first he doesn't want to. He wakes up and sees that she is wearing a school uniform and has twin-tail hair. She says "My hair style cute today right?" as the the sun shines on her smile. He is mesmerized by her cuteness. Downstairs at the table, breakfast is served all neatly laid out. Yujiro inhales the smell of the food. Mariko (Kikuchi Momoko) walks in wearing a maid apron, and says "Anata~ (husband), Ohayou". Yujiro says she is really pretty. His "daughter" Misaki calls him Papa. He is living the dream of a perfect family household. Misaki and Mariko make plans with him. They start fighting over him. He is so happy...but suddenly he breaks down in tears hard. The spell is broken and the scenic music cuts. Misaki and Mariko went along playing the role of a perfect wife and daughter in a family simulation. Misaki tells him, the simulation is over after he keeps crying of "happiness".

There will be a lot of back-and-forth scenes.

They all finish their breakfast together. Yujiro praises them for doing such an amazing job in their roles in the simulation. It turns out it was a script he wrote.

OCHA NORMA's Koi no Crouching Start intro

At his own household, Yujiro wakes up late and finds that his family (wife and daughter) is not even around to greet him for breakfast, breaking his "perfect family" imagery. He ends up opening the fridge to find a bunch of energy drinks stacked. He drinks one of them and realizes the taste is disgusting. He finds a trash can and barfs it out. His daughter Okunaka Ao (Actress Ishii Misaki 石井心咲) walks in, looking at him in disbelief. She doesn't even talk to him and walks right past him straight to the fridge for a drink. They have awkward glances and she slams the door.

Back in the inn, Misaki and Mariko try to understand his situation with his daughter. They try to help put dreamy thoughts into his head to make him feel happy. They want to come up with a plan to get his daughter to talk to him and find out what she is thinking. In a simulation dream scene, Yujiro is with his family. His wife gets a leg cramp while exercising and his daughter goes to help her, and Yujiro is hiding a box with eye holes. While they are distracted, he attempts to steal his daughter's smartphone. Suddenly, Misaki breaks the spell and tells him "No, that is not right to look at your daughter's phone!"

Yujiro tells Misaki and Mariko of another plan he wants to try out, but that won't work out either. Mariko says that a door will be opened for him. In another simulation scene, he talks his daughter while he has a more confident look on his face. They write down a plan to make him more approachable with perfume scent.

Back to reality, Ao is hanging with out her friends after school. They leave, and Yujiro calls out to Ao, just like exactly the simulated scene started. But it doesn't go as planned as Yujiro is nervous around her. He wants to walk her home. His daughter's first words out of her mouth are "Kousui?", she can smell a scent. Mariko narrates the plan as it goes. He has to walk with her, break the ice and get into a conversation with her. Yujiro is scared of what to say, so...

Moving back to the inn scene, Mariko gets Misaki and Yujiro to practice the plan of what to say. Misaki has to wear the school uniform again to pretend to be his daughter Ao as they walk. He tries over and over and over again, while Misaki just yells "Sexual Harassment!" and rejects him in every situation. He gives up. Mariko tells him the right answer to approach her, and that is to give her a "gift" first.

Switch back to the actually scene where he tries to talk to Ao. He gives her a gift. She says "what is that?" He says "It's a package of "Nori" seaweed." Switch back to the inn, Misaki asks why are you giving her "Nori"? She says no way. But Yujiro knows Ao likes "Nori" seaweed. Then Mariko says the important part next is to tell her how you feel. A scene plays where he yells at Ao "I like youuuuuuuu" in front of a "Ferris Wheel" (hint). As a Papa, he wants to get to know her and eat a meal together. She smiles a little bit at the idea, before they are interrupted by her phone ringing. He lets her answer it. Her friend has invited her somewhere. Yujiro lets her go with her friend instead. "Friends are precious" he says. She agrees with him. Yujiro walks away alone. Ao looks on, and thinks about what she should do.

Walking alone depressed, Yujiro looks up at the night sky. He walks up to a family restaurant and sees whole families are close and having fun. While walking, he is not paying attention to where is going and slams his head on the "HELLO!" door out of nowhere. LOL. He walks and opens it without hesitation and is surprised by the empty space and then gets scared and closes it. He realizes its the same door that Mariko mentioned. He finally enters the door.

On the other side, Yujiro is yet a different dressing room. Mariko walks in and tells him where he is. His stage is coming up next. All 12 Tsubaki Factory members enter the room and surround him. He asks who they are. They are idols named Tsubaki Factory. They introduce themselves. Tanimoto says Yujiro has done his best. They all praised him for having the courage to talk his daughter earlier. They gather around hime and they all the do "Camellia Fai!" huddle with their pinkies linked together. Mariko waves goodbye and says "Bye KISORAN~" (reference to Niinuma Kisora). They drag him to the stage door.

They enter an empty family restaurant (the one he was saw earlier). Tsubaki Factory gets in formation quickly and they start singing their hit song "Konya Dake Ukaretakatta" in front of him. They have microphones. They get him to sit in a chair. The lyrics mention "Kousui", a reference to his perfume he wearing right now. He says smells it. They have more lyrics and scenes that relate to his daughter hanging out with her friends. The scene shifts to an empty movie theater. Tsubaki Factory is dancing and sing around it. The new members get to sing lines in this version of the song.

During the instrumental break, they watch the movie screen together. It shows a video of his daughter just born and memorable pictures as she grows up. Yujiro starts to cry. Kishimoto Yumeno starts to sing again as she looks at the pictures (is she crying too?). They start the doing dance moves in their seats. He gets emotional as they keep singing. The scenes changes to them dancing in an amusment park Merry-go-round. Yujiro is in the center dancing the moves with them. LOL. Yujiro is the imagining riding the Merry-go-round horse with his daughter Ao, who is smiling. Tsubaki Factory is also riding in the background. The song ends with him in the center of the group, doing a funny pose. Mariko walks up to him and says "This is the HELLO!" He responds with the English words "YES! I KNOW!" with a thumbs up.

Yujiro is running back to where he was walking with his daughter. Ao calls out to her Papa. Ao didn't go to her friends place. She changed her mind. She couldn't come up with anything to say to him. He laughs at her. He says he was the same as her. "I WISH" starts to play as they casually talk to other finally. Ao says she is hungry, and Yujiro finally suggests they go to a family restaurant. But Ao suggests they go and eat sushi, since "Nori" is her favorite. They agree. Yujiro tries to hold her hand and she goes "That's Kimoi (gross), don't hold on to me like that!"

At the end, Yujiro is leaving the inn. He thanks Mariko and Misaki and gives a gift of "Nori seaweed" too. He has head held high as he walks off. Mariko and Misaki have a sushi party.

Next week, Career woman Otsuka Anka (Actress Tokunaga Eri) is worried about her marriage to her unique boyfriend Mikoshiba (Actor Yoshimura Kaito), who calls himself a "crazy person". Mariko and Misaki tell her "no", but what will Anka's decision be...?
