It starts off with Berryz Kobo's song "Tomodachi wa Tomodachi Nanda!" playing in the background and on the CD single is shown on the stand. Misaki is lounging on the couch, looking at her phone, and Mariko talking to her. Both of them eating some high quality Imagawayaki / Obanyaki (bigger version of Dorayaki). They wondered who bought them, because neither of them did.
This episode stars Ichikawa Yui as Sumire Komiyama, an employee of a toy company. Nakajima Takui makes his acting debut as her boss. She presents new toy designs to him, but he isn't wowed by them and has one thing to say "Mou Ippo" ka na.. (a song he wrote) *hint* Sumire is disappointed. She has a chat with her junior co-worker about their ideas going nowhere. She asks her if she is frustrated with their boss "Nakajima". The co-worker is also frustrated with her and throws a tantrum on the floor. Sumire tries to make her stop. The co-worker complains of being alone on her previous day off. Sumire agrees to go camping with her next time. But Sumire has other plans first. Her friend from her hometown is coming to visit. The co-worker is not happy with her.

Back at the guesthouse, Mariko and Misaki are on their knees apologizing to their new guest (Sumire's hometown friend arrived), for eating the Obanyaki gift (intended for Sumire) on accident. They asked where she bought it, so they can buy more. But the friend says she it can only be bought in Ehime prefecture. She tells them not to worry about it and will find something else to buy in Tokyo. Mariko and Misaki grab her by the feet and ask her if they can go apologize to Sumire. They want to do anything to make it up to her and continue bowing.

Sumire is now at the guesthouse with her close friend and they are in the sitting in a kotatsu, chatting. The friend apologizes. Mariko listens in on the conversation, waiting for the right time to give some consolation "dorayaki". Misaki says it is great to see best friends meet up. They reminisce on some happy memories. Mariko has the perfect present for the two friends. A song from ANGERME's album "Rinnetenshou ~ANGERME Past, Present & Future~" called "Mou Ippo". Sumire looks concerned as she hears "Mou Ippo" again. She denies that something is wrong. Mariko is thinking to herself about a door and Sumire hears the word.
Before going to sleep, Sumire and her friend chat about really wanting to eat the Obanyaki. Sumire says she has no time go back to her hometown to get it. Her friend worried about her.
Sumire is busy back at work, trying to come up with new designs with her co-worker. In a montage, Every time, she present the design to her boss, Nakajima (Takui). But all he says "Mou Ippo" and walks away. In another scene, Sumire is running a treadmill in a gym, trying to figure out new ideas. Then it switches back to her working, drinking energy drinks, and presenting her ideas to Nakajima. He just keeps saying "Mou Ippo" or nothing at all to her and taps her on the shoulder. This repeats several times. Then at the gym, a trainer approaches Sumire and asks her if he could decrease the pace on her treadmill. He presses the button anyway, but she doesn't want to. She needs to it to help her concentrate at work. It goes way faster. She screams at him that it is okay. Off-screen, Sumire falls off the machine hard and sprains her ankle.
Sumire is back at her own place, sitting at a table with a brace on her leg. She looks at the instagram comments where she posted a picture of her leg. The comments are from people who pretend they care about her. Her friend arrives with Obanyaki from their hometown and she is happy to eat it. They have a chat. Sumire tries to tell her that she isn't the same from when she was in grade school and gets moody. She snatches her laptop back. Her friend to tries to change her mood, but gives her the silent treatment.
Sumire returns to work with her broken foot and crutches. She slowly walks towards Nakajima to show her latest idea. Before she could get to him, a male co-worker is with Nakajima. Nakajima approves his work and shakes his hand. She is in disbelief. She ends up on the roof, looking at the night sky and feeling down. She turns around and the find the big "HELLO!" door. She slowly approaches it with crutches. She enters the door and a bright flashes appears.
Sumire appears in a dressing room backstage. Alternate reality Mariko appears and tells that her stage is coming up next. ANGERME's senior members Takeuchi, Kawamura, Kamikokuryo, Sasaki, and Ise Layla walk in and appear in front of her, hometown friends. All of them are proud of their hometowns. They all know how Sumire feels. Layla tells her it's time to go. They make her sit in a wheelchair and push all the way to the stage door.
When they open the door, the enter a small room and with wood floors. ANGERME members grab a jump rope and start stretching. They want to her join in. She then realizes her leg is not in a brace anymore. Takeuchi tells her to gets up and join them. They start jump roping and their song "Mou Ippo" begins. She doesn't know why she is doing this. The members transition from the jump rope to performing the song. They have mic headsets on. Two dudes continue the jump rope (one of them that worker who Nakajima approved). Sumire keeps jumping while they sing and dance. Suddenly the song stops, and the ANGERME members are sitting in beach chairs, wearing sunglasses and sipping drinks like they are on vacation, while Sumire is still jumping. Sumire gets mad at them. They ask her if she wants to take a break. In a different and interesting way, they start singing again and join in on the jump rope with her. The song makes them change the scene to the rooftop. They finish the song in a cool pose. Mariko tells her "This is the HELLO!" and Sumire responds "HELLO!" and smiles.
At a convenience store, Sumire's friend is working. Sumire walks in and shows that she has an Obanyaki gift. I WISH starts playing. She reconciles with her friend.
Back at the guesthouse, Mariko is hopeful that Misaki can make friends with Hello! Project fans. She tries to make Misaki take the next step towards that (Mou Ippo)
Next week, Misaki (Ohara Yuno) is in twin-tail hair and wearing a uniform, and Mariko is in a maid outfit.

Next week, Actor (Goto Takenori) plays Yujiro Okunaka, who uses Sun Plaza Asanuma as a rental office, is having trouble getting along with his daughter. He consults with Mariko and Misaki, but things don't go well, and a "door" appears in front of him...
