I just wanna know how UF* managed to land Airi on this show. Four of the previous six videos have hit 1M+ views and the latter two are at 650 and 750k respectively and likely to hit 1M sooner rather than later as well.

This one was posted a day ago and it's at 250k already.

The entire show is basically an advertisement for Suzuki Airi the singer and it would be grating if not for the fact that Airi is so dang good and does every song with an effortlessly emotional ease.

It's been a long time since Up-Front has turned anyone into a household name, and if there's any chance of it ever happening again, Airi's probably their best shot. (Moe....maybe?) So it makes sense for them to call in all their markers, bribe whoever they need to bribe, threaten to loan out Tsunku's nephew as a kiss-of-death production assistant, whatever they have to do. Her' 20th anniversary with UF is coming up in a few months. Hopefully by then they will have double cause to celebrate.

It's actually very impressive that the sales are on par with her second album.

It indicates that she has a very core/loyal fanbase and that her artist career can likely be supported by her singing alone.

Hopefully the AniSong cover show will help to boost her image as a singer in the long run because I think a lot of her fans are fans via her modeling (which she is also very good at).
