That concert had a relentless pace and momentum. Just one heavy hitter after the other.
The recorded chants worked really well.

So I'm returning home now from a live cinema viewing and I'm wrecked. It was an amazing concert. The playlist was one of the best I've seen. 2 years of new stuff they've wanted to perform and many songs that really spotlighted Masaki's time in MM. I cried several times haha.

Ayumi's utter sadness that so many people who wanted to be at the concert in person but couldn't (because all the seats weren't allowed to be filled up due to covid) really got me. And because what makes Masaki special is the way she performs, watching each final performance was so hard. Her last 'te' in One Two Three, her last 'Aisaretai', last 'Is it necessary'... and so many others.

The only time we'll get to see Time is Money with her ;_;

I could say so much more, but I just want to say her outfit reasoning was the most Maachan outside the box thinking ever, and her choice of Egao no Kimi, which I believe to be the hardest MM song to sing because of it's rhythm, both fit her musically and lyrically.

Oh. Slightly unrelated but, I found it interesting that the audience in my theater had to have been 80% female. Maybe even more. Also they sold the grad photobook at the cinema store and it sold out with about 40 people in line.
