Going back a bit, but I just got around to watching this
I really recommend it, it's a very entertaining karaoke session! Thank you Amped, for the link!
Ami-chan starts things off with an adorably derpy light and happy rendition of Hoff Dylan's 1996 classic "Smile."
Next up is Marine with a strong clear plain-voiced rendition of "Hitori de Ikiraresou tte..."
After that Shiori sings a song I don't remember hearing before,
Sousei no Aquarion.
Next, Kiki sings "Romantic Ukare Mode." During the little instrumental break at the beginning of the song, she shouts out, 「今日はキキティーって呼んでください!!!」 "Call me Kikitty today!" The other girls can't get enough of that and shout out
Kikitty! Kikitty! all during her performance.
Maopin is next with Superfly's 2008 "Ai Wo Komete Hanataba Wo." In the middle of her set, Yumeno decides she's going to do a campy dance accompaniment and twirls around the room for a bit. Then she sits down and Riko takes her place with the silly dance moves. The entire room is shaking with laughter.
Mizuho goes next with Official HIGE DANdism's "Pretender." When a song like that has one prominent English word in it ("Goodbye!") it's only natural that it's the one word I clearly remember from the whole song. But oddly enough, that's occasionally true of Japanese listeners too, and here the girls all scream out "Goodbye!!" during the chorus.
Then Yuumi-chan does Aiko's 1999 romantic ballad "Kabutomushi" (Rhinoceros beetle). She sounds lovely but her voice is shaky. Afterwards she said her palms were sweaty and she had felt nervous like at an audition.
Next comes Kisora with the inexplicably popular perky kiddy song, Mana Ashida's "
Sutekina Nichiyoubi ~ Gyu Gyu Good Day! ~" Mao jumps up and the two of them perform the dance.
Little Runo challenges herself by belting out Ado's popular, mildly controversial and hard-to-sing "
Uuseewa," (the title translates basically to "Shut The Fuck Up"). The other girls seem pretty amazed that her diminutive frame could sing with such power and energy. She seemed pretty amazed herself, tbh. I didn't know if anybody could successfully follow that, but:
Kishimon killed with her closer, "Hit Me Baby One More Time." On top of her own sexy movies, she got Maopin to stand up and do a little crotch-grabbing hiphop freestyling. And also Riko bounced around a bit.
Unless I somehow missed her, Saori didn't get a song. Cut for time, maybe??
