^That was pretty weak...I got the same exact "score" even though I checked "no" on seeing Booksmart and To All the Boys I've Loved Before. I think 1) the quiz is only going to say you're Millennial or older if you claim you skipped damn near every movie. and 2) they probably assign people a hidden real score they share with advertisers to help pinpoint the user's demographics.

Speaking of things that appeal to "Old Gen Z'ers" and (cough) older....G4TV is coming back and I am totally here for it!! With Attack of the Show, XPlay, Ninja Warrior, and even a D&D campaign. No Morgan Webb though. :(

^ No Morgan? :/ Is Adam making a return?

I know Jessica Chobot is doing "Expedition X" now (which I also enjoy), but I'd love to see her pop in once.

^ Adam and Kevin are back. https://www.gamespot.com/articles/g4tv- ... 0-6496976/
Expedition X sounds interesting. After G4 ended, I used to follow Jessica on Nerdist News, glad to hear she's still making content.

It'll be great to see Adam doing gaming stuff again. I watched his YT content wayback for a while, got sad when he closed up shop there too. I can take or leave Kevin, but then the nostalgia just isn't as strong with him.

Though I'm not subscribing to anything new just to watch them, so my viewing will definitely be limited.

My brother added me to his Netflix account so I got around to watching Squid Game and literally just finished it. It was good but it stressed me the hell out! :fear:  Though if it comes back, I'll definitely be watching it, lol.

I'm gonna watch Alice in Borderland next; I've seen a few people say it's really good too. (It'll also be the first J-drama I've seen since Seigi no Mikata first aired. :| )

Between the two of them I would say that Squid edged out Borderland, but I enjoyed both. They're similar in that !!HIDDEN!! "they both consist of deadly challenges" but different in that !!HIDDEN!! "Squid is more like Battle Royale in that the players compete against each other, whereas Borderland's more like Cube or Escape Room in that the goal is merely to survive".

So far I'm finding Borderland harder to watch than Squid Game. Episode 3 destroyed me. I watched 4 episodes in a row tonight so I am enjoying it despite getting emotional!

I started Alice in Borderland and never finished after that episode.

I don't know how I feel about this…

The aesthetic seems right, but it's an aesthetic that was specifically designed for animation. The only time I've ever seen this sort of thing work well was in Edgar Wright's Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010), and the only reason he got that job was because of what he'd already done in Shaun of the Dead (2004) and Hot Fuzz (2007). Whoever's running this show, it ain't Edgar Wright.

And it ain't Shinichiro Watanabe, either. That's for damned sure…

(how's that for a URL?)

I found that trailer to be rather cringeworthy.
