There's these two popular girls of Romanian heritage, the Botez sisters, the elder being a top 10 ranked female player in Canada, who are popular on Twitch and YouTube. They look to me, partularly Andrea, like distant European relatives of Icchan.



Japanese-American Grandmaster Hikaru Nakamura is a real pleasure to watch. He is good-natured and sometimes takes the time to explain his opponents' mistakes to them after they've lost, particularly young players.

But... it looks like the storms that have been hitting lately pretty much all around the world are just too much for existing runoff systems. I'm afraid that we're going to see a lot more of this, and probably in places that nobody expects.
