Man I wish JPop stuff got subbed as quickly as KPop stuff. I wanna fully enjoy this. It was still cute, though!

I understood like.. 70%? Give or take. I'd love to try my hand at subbing it but I do not have the stamina or the confidence to do so. Moments like these I feel like forming a subbing group would be really great. (Wink wink nod nod ) That being said I really enjoyed the episode, Yuumi was adorable. It'd be wonderful to see them all get to do various activities and games in future episodes. When restrictions ease up again, maybe even outdoor stuff that relate to each members interests? Similar to how Kaede one time went shopping for anime goods, or how Rikako was taken to various flower-themed places.This applies to all groups and their members, honestly.

However... someone really screwed up with the intro.

The Kanji is right, but the romanji is totally wrong. I think the producer (which i believe is a native Japanese) know more about what's the difference between the Kanji "Gishi" with "Zaki".

It took me two days to realise they spelled her last name wrong… I've been staring at this screenshot from time to time absolutely confused what exactly was the mistake

It's an easy enough mistake to make. A Japanese person likely to see the Kanji written correctly and pay little to no attention to the Roumaji. If someone wrote out:
TOBO_JUNNY
トボ⋆シャニー
I would probably just glance at it for a half second, think "no prob," and call it a day.

I don’t understand Kanji at all, the irony is I honestly read the Romaji as Yamagishi several times without knowing it was spelled Yamazaki

Like I know her name is spelled Yamagishi so even if I read out Yamazaki Riko somehow I’ll still read it as Yamagishi Riko without noticing m

Think of it this way say I wrote the word mitsake, you’d still read it as Mistake right?

You didn't notice it because you're accustomed to seeing "Yamazaki" in the context of H!P.

And you're accustomed to seeing "Yamazaki" in the context of H!P because there are two of them right now: Mei and Yuhane.

If that were not true, it's more likely that you would have noticed it.

It's the difference between thinking "There's no one named 'Yamazaki' in H!P" and thinking "I know there are members named 'Yamazaki' in H!P but she's not one of them". The latter requires quite a bit more mental effort than you normally spend on watching the opening credits of a television show.
