I was going to say something about "How many times can the movie and TV industry remake the same thing?" but then I remembered what kind of world we're living in, and that the answer is "an infinite number of times, at least, and maybe ℵ-sub-ℵ."

That is real rain Zunu. Not like the wimpy so called rain we get in the Bay Area. The last time the weather news here said 80% chance, I emptied a full rain barrel and we got 0%. Now I don't even have that rain water from the barrel. CA is so screwed up. I use the rain barrel to divert water coming from a neighboring apartment's garage to the street, so my backyard doesn't flood. Ingenious.

Rain is a blessing for sure, but when you're getting like 2 sunny days out of 10 in the middle of summer, it's its own kind of exhausting...

I was going to say something about "How many times can the movie and TV industry remake the same thing?" but then I remembered what kind of world we're living in, and that the answer is "an infinite number of times, at least, and maybe ℵ-sub-ℵ."

It's "fun" to sit in the movie theater watching the upcoming trailers, and compare how many of them are reboots/remakes/sequels/prequels versus how many are original properties.

Then you look at the quality of the ones that are original properties and you're like, " nevermind....carry on"

I always roll my eyes when the local TV news shows trot out their "STORMWATCH!" banners. The much-heralded "storm" usually ends up being a piddly drizzle.

And those "stormwatch" alerts never fail to make it to some late night show.

We've had pop-up storms every day lately; I'd gladly send to the west coast and PNW if I could.
