The tightest preparation period in the history of Hello Pro Kenshuusei! With their new song "Upside down girl", they charmed the fans by showing the performance that only the Kenshuusei can give with their numbers!

They performed their new song "Upside down girl".

It was an aggressive song based on EDM, but with the formation of the number of trainees, it looked especially good on the big stage.

Hello Dream shares a behind the scenes look from the "Hello! Pro Kenshuusei Recital 2021 ~Spring Public Ability Assessment Test~", with cameras only following Arisawa Ichika and Ishiyama Sakura taking the test for the first time.

- Recap of the test
- They immediately show footage of Arisawa and Ishiyama practicing the test at home that was shown from a previous episode. Then the show new footage of them rehearsing hard in the dance studio and as well as footage from the dress rehearsal the day before the test. They interviewed both of them on how they feel. They are nervous, but they want to do well for everyone watching.

ANGERME new single "Hakkiri Shiyouze" plays

- On the day of the test, they follow Arisawa and Ishiyama around. Both of them talk to the cameras. Arisawa says she didn't get any sleep, thinking about the test. They both did a practice run of the performances.
- 10 minutes before the test, they show backstage footage of them getting ready.
- A digest of Arisawa's performance is shown, plus her judging. Backstage, she shouts she was nervous. Her thoughts : she was speechless.
- Ishiyama waits backstage for her turn. A digest of Ishiyama's performance and her judging. After, she started to cry but she smiled at the time.
- Arisawa is the winner of Hashimoto Shin's director award. She was super happy to be recognized.
- Ishiyama says it was frustrating, but she wants to do better than her first performance. Ueno-sensei praises her for doing her best.

They're all like that. I don't know if they're fan edits or if they're taken from the original episodes. I think they're fan edits, but I don't watch HaroDori straight so I don't know for sure.

You're right about them being fan edits. I'm a sucker for a quick glimpse at progress, so I will be watching a few of these.

Edit: Lurkette at H!O is in the process of translating Tsunku's thoughts & critiques on the current Kenshuusei based on his watching of the 2021 Shindan Test. (They also translated his 2020 write up, seen [here].)

Kenshuusei Arisawa Ichika interviews Matsubara Yulia, Hashida Honoka, and Hirayama Yuki.



Arisawa just gushes over Hirayama Yuki. Instead of asking questions, she just goes off praising Hirayama on everything : looks, voice, singing, powerful dancing, cute expressions. Arisawa even requests Hirayama to look at the camera with a cute smile and Arisawa goes crazy.
