Suzuki Airi to host her own music program for the first time, performing X-mas medley with music composer Kiyozuka Shinya
It has been announced that singer and model Suzuki Airi will host her first music program for NHK E-TV's two-week special program "Classic TV" (December 17th and 24th, both from 10:50pm-11:19pm). Together with pianist Kiyozuka Shinya, they will deliver a classical music program with a new sensation.
The program is "music culture entertainment" that unravels the appeal of a wide range of music from the "perspective of classical music. Kiyozuka's talk, live performances, and occasional "musical experiments" are interwoven to provide easy-to-understand explanations. It will stimulate your intellectual curiosity.
The first episode to be aired on March 17th is titled "Beethoven Complex: The Merits and Demerits of a Great Composer," and features Beethoven, who is celebrating his 250th birthday. The program will focus on the "merits and demerits" of Beethoven's complex, which has plagued composers of later generations such as Schubert and Brahms.
