Time is stupid, because though I made those pins for the MM '14 NY concert, but there's no way that was 6 years ago.
Thinking about it, the only remaining groups listed on the rim of those things are MM, J=J, S/, and UUG. Plain ol' skipped right over Kobushi Factory's whole tenure!

^ One of the few things that make that concert seem like a long time ago for me is that when I walked past the Ed Sullivan Theater on that trip, Letterman was still the host of the Late Show. Colbert has done over a thousand shows since then!



What blows my mind, though, is that my last trip to Japan was only five months after that. How can it be five and a half years already?

The older you get, the more you'll accumulate past experiences like that - the kind of thing where you think, Wow - I did that? And it was that long ago??? How does that even fit into my life? And how did I even fit the time in? I can't be that old, can I? Oh. Wait. I am.

Buuuut... On the other hand, I think that the accumulation of such things is a pretty good indication that you've led an interesting life, so maybe it just goes with the territory.

True - I try to get myself motivated to get out and do everything that looks like it would be fun or worthwhile, but during the best of times, if I even do 25% of everything, I'm doing really, really, really well. And during the not-best of times, just managing anything is a challenge.

Took a little trip on Sunday to Cheaha State Park. The ride up made me a little anxious; lots of twists and turns. Well worth it, honestly.

There was a little scenic overlook spot on the way up, so we pulled over there for a few minutes.

They have an observation tower at the park; me and my mom did not go to the top. We walked around outside and she went "OH MY GOD, WE LIVE HERE!"

The next place I wanna see is DeSoto Caverns, because caves are awesome!
