Up Up Girls (2)'s Kaji held her first solo live, "KAJISTIC LIVE prologue", at Hatsudai THE DOORS on 10/10. She showed off her guitar playing (acoustic and electric), and performed UUG (2), (K), and cover songs - and revealed a new self-composed solo song titled "Hikare! Namida!" (光れ!涙!), with lyrics by NOBE. She was backed by Narahara Eisuke (VOLA & THE ORIENTAL MACHINE) on guitar, Koresuke Arishima (arko lemming, dresscodes) on bass, Emi (support for Vickeblanka and Suzuki Airi) on keyboard, and Yao Takuya (formerly of Passepied) on drums.

At the end the article mentions that a live featuring only the remaining first generation members (Chinatsu, Mayu, Kaji) of Up Up Girls (2) will be held on 10/31, titled "(2) THE FIRST GENERATION".

Furukawa Konatsu, Mori Saki, Saho Akari, and Arai Manami will be graduating from UUG(K). Sekine Azusa will continue as the last original member in the new lineup after the audition is complete. A final live for the original 5 titled "UP UP GIRLS kakko KARI FIVE SOUL FOREVER" (アップアップガールズ（仮）FIVE SOUL FOREVER) will be held on December 17, 2020 at Zepp Tokyo. A farewell party is also planned, with info to be announced later.

They each posted statements in this blog entry. In her statement Saki points out that if you include her time in Hello Pro Egg, she's been performing for about 17 years.

Losing both of my favorites at the same time is gonna sting a little. I wasn't there from the very begining, but I have followed them all since they were Eggs. It really doesn't feel like it's been 10 years (let alone anything close to 17).

I haven't watched the footage yet so this is just knee-jerk reacting, but for the very temporary moment I think I like 2, 6, 7, 15, 18.

I liked 2, 7, 8, 15, and 19 the best.
2 seemed to have the most charismatic personality.
7 had a pale pretty appearance that would've been served well by better makeup but she stood out as (I think) the only one to do a combo sing/dance cover (to Uppercut).
8 had a great voice and seemed to be trying to channel Danbara.
15 struck the best balance of having an engaging personality, being attractive, and singing acceptably if not exceptionally.
19 was the cutest by far to me but also gave the weakest performance out of the five. Her career in mumblecore awaits.
