All of the fussing with social distancing and vapor barriers when they record their programs is purely for show. It's theater, in both senses of the word.
But what escalated it from "theater" to "farce" was BEYOOOOONDS' appearance at TIF2020 — specifically, what happens at 3:58 in this performance of "Nippon no D.N.A!"…

Anyhow, in N-K's comment above, I would change "appreciate" to "understand". I understand why they're doing what they're doing, but
because I understand it — really, truly understand it — it just pisses me off.
(i watch idols to escape from real life, but all this is doing is reminding me of what's happening here in Michigan. if i didn't need to stay near my aging parents, i would have left this ridiculous state years ago.)
