Harodori is such a fun watch. I'm happy that KSS got a show, it seems more and more fans have come to notice them or pay attention to them. I can imagine that it helps the girls themselves stay motivated too. Personally I've become really fond of Hirayama Yuki. She has a pleasant voice

- Recap of last week's rescheduled Kenshuusei Ability Test announcement.

- This week, the experienced Kenshuusei members discuss how they feel about the upcoming Kenshuusei Ability Test that is decided to be held on July 26th. They all reveal the songs they will perform and things to pay close attention to in their performance. The show plays a clip of each Kenshuusei mentioning their goals from the very first episodes and compares it to how they feel now.

The song choices they have chosen back in March have not changed.

Yonemura Kirara - This is Yonemura's 5th time participating. This year's test could determine her future. She chose "Kiseki no Kaori Dance" by Matsuura Aya. She saw a live concert performance of Matsuura and wanted to try performing it. This is her 5th song on her Karaoke list. Yonemura's point of emphasis for this performance is "having fun" on stage.

Ishiguri Kanami - This is Ishiguri's 4th time participating. She is really working hard to achieve her dream of a debut. She "Resonant Blue" by Morning Musume. She hopes this song choice will be even better than last year. She will practicing the dance while wearing high heels. Ishiguri's point to look for is her expressions.

Yamada Ichigo - Yamada's 4th time participating and wishing to debut. She chose to sing Gomattou's "SHALL WE LOVE?" because of the song's rhythm. She keeps telling herself she could do it. She even made drawings to help her practice. She wants everyone to see that she can also express herself as the girl in the song.

Nakayama Natsume - Participating for the 4th time, Nakayama is betting everything on this test. She wants to win. Nakayama became daring and decided to chose the most difficult song given to her (they give a list of songs they can choose from) in °C-ute's "Namida no Iro". The point to pay attention to is her expressions for this song.

- ANGERME Hashisako Rin looks back on her Kenshuusei days.
~ On the first day of becoming a Kenshuusei, Rin had never taken a train or bullet train alone before and couldn't read kanji very well yet in 5th grade, so she had to rely on a senior Kenshuusei member to help transfer trains.
~ She practices in the bath all the time because her voice echoes well
~ The sunglasses broke just before her "Massara Blue Jeans" in her 1st test performance.
~ She wants to overcome her weak points

Tamenaga Shion - participating in her 3rd test, she has chosen "Daite yo! PLEASE GO ON" by Goto Maki because it has a lot of singing and dancing. In 2018, Goto Maki was a guest at the H!P Summer concert and performed this song and Tamenaga saw how cool her performance was. She has been keeping up with muscle training and practicing for this song. In her checklist, she points out all things to pay attention to : Her dance, her adult-like facial expressions, her tempo on stage, and how well she sings the "Ai wo Kudasai" part.

Kubota Nanami - For her 3rd performance, Kubota chose Morning Musume's "Watashi no Miryoku ni Kizukanai Donkan na Hito" because she saw Sato Masaki sing this song. The singing and dance is cute and it fits her. Her teacher told her to stretch everyday when practicing the dance for this song.

Matsubara Yuriya - In her 3rd performance, she will dance and sing to ANGERME's "Akai Earphone", because it is a cool song. She practices the song everyday and watches ANGERME's MVs. She want everyone to pay attention to the cool and pretty dancing.

Saito Madoka - In her 2nd test, Saito chose Tsubaki Factory's "Konya Dake Ukaretakatta", because she wants wants to put on a more adult-like and sexy performance, while looking cool too. Her point to pay attention to is the dance performance.

Onoda Karin - Participating for 2nd time, Onoda chose "Hitori de Ikiraresou" tte Sore tte Nee, Homete Iru no? because she loves everything about the song is so cool, the lyrics, melody and the music's mood (fuinki). The rhythm is very fast and difficult and and will continue to practice it. Last year, she showed some nervousness. She wants to show that she is not nervous this time.

- H!P seniors Ogata Risa, Inoue Rei, Tanimoto Ami, and Onoda Saori continue their round-table discussion. They offer advice for Kenshuusei :
Onoda says to always watch rehearsal videos. Inoue says to watch live performances as motivation.

- This week's live performance is Kenshuusei Unit's "Mistake" from H!P Winter.

- Ogata Risa, Inoue Rei, Tanimoto Ami, and Onoda Saori talk about which Kenshuusei they are always paying attention to during rehearsals :
Onoda Saori -> Yonemura Kirara
Inoue Rei -> Ishiguri Kanami
Ogata Risa -> Kitahara Momo
Tanimoto Ami -> Hirayama Yuki. Tanimoto says Hirayama's singing voice is really good. She thought this girl is really skilled.
Also, after watching Hello Dream, Tanimoto is really curious about Saito Madoka, after showing how passionate of an H!P fan she is, talking about her Kudo Haruka microfiber towels in her room.

Next week, the 30th gen Kenshuusei discuss how they feel about participating in their very first Kenshuusei Ability Test. Since this is their first time participating, they will show how they are preparing for their presentation of their unique skills. Also, a new round-table discussion between BEYOOOOONDS members about their Kenshuusei days and their debut.

Continuing from last week, this time 30th gen Kenshuusei members talk about getting closer to achieving their dreams in their first ever Kenshuusei Ability Test, and the songs they will sing and how they are preparing themselves. With two weeks to go, a lottery box appears to determine the performance order from 1~18 (Nishimura Karin out). Also a new round-table discussion with BEYOOOOONDS members.

30th gen Kenshuusei each reveal the songs they are going to perform. Some of them have unusual ways to practice. Some of them chose to prepare with the help family members (moms, dads, brothers) critiquing their performances at home.

I don't know what the chances are they still upload some version of the drawing to YT, maybe a few days after the show, either way this does not leave me feeling especially positive about the annual digest. :lol:

It's going to be cute having a lot of the newer girls out first.

Here is the full lottery drawing for the Kenshuusei Ability test performance order on the official Kenshuusei youtube channel. It is almost identical to the Hello Dream one, except there is no narration and none of their full reactions are shown (such as Nakayama Natsume crying), after drawing a number in this video.

Well then! I'm more than happy they decided to do both. :lol:

After watching "Harodori", my favorite reactions were easily the most obvious ones (Natsume, Runo, Kirara, Kanami, Ruli).

Edit: Apparently Yonemura Kirara will appear in the August 2020 edition of "EX Taishu" magazine, releasing 7/15.
