My random thought of the day: have Tim Burton and Neil Gaiman ever been seen together in the same room?

Heading to east Tennessee this weekend to do some house hunting.

I know; that's dicey during a pandemic! But my mom is having a shoulder replacement and carpal tunnel surgery on July 2nd, and my brother has to go back to work on July 11th. Which I think is too soon, but that's another story for another day.

For obvious reasons, I'm nervous. But also looking forward to seeing the mountains again for the first time in 5 years. I'm also looking forward to the weather! Low to mid-80F range vs. Florida's mid-90F range that feels like 105F.

I'll try to snap some pics of the mountains, anyway.

My brain mixed up Moh and house hunting and I thought you said you were going moose hunting. I mean, east Tennessee is legendary for that, right?

The technical writer in me is screaming at all of the mistakes I've made in recent posts here. Mistakes that I can't fix after those posts are followed by new posts or, even worse, quoted. Other people might not notice or care, but I do because it's literally part of my job to do so.

I know the feeling. It's even worse when I'm on a forum that doesn't allow edits, or only allows them for a limited time. The error may be as inconsequential as "St, Vincent" instead of "St. Vincent" (a typo that I made on a stamp collecting forum two years ago), but it's like a stab in the eye every time I have to see it.

We have been hearing excessive fireworks since early May, everyday at 12am~1am in the morning and my dog is always shaking. The loud booms are scaring him. We tried many ointments and collars but it is only temporary. The thundershirt is expensive. It has got to stop.
