Time is strange - and interior time can be, I think, completely non-linear. :fear:

An update on the guy in the apartment downstairs: besides keeping dubious company, he is also a horrible slob. Pest control came by this week and the increase in roaches that I had been observing in my apartment had all crawled up the outside of the pipes from downstairs. They showed me a glue trap that they had used downstairs in his apartment. I had never seen these traps catch more than one or two in my apartment but this one had at least twenty. I feel bad for my landlord since evictions in my state are banned until at least August.

Sounds like one of our neighbors - the cause of mice and roaches on more than once occasion. Good luck dealing with him/all of that.

I've always found it very relaxing to have professional golf playing on the TV during spring and summer weekends. I don't follow the sport at all, but I find the broadcast itself to be a sensuous experience: the quiet voices of the commentators, the rustling of the wind in the trees, the whoosh of the swing, the music going into and coming out of commercial breaks, and so on. It's just nice to have playing in the background while I do other things.

Anyhow, the first event of the revised PGA tour schedule is on right now, but I can't get into it because they're playing without spectators due to the 'rona. No spectators, no golf claps. It's throwing the whole thing off for me.

I guess watching old matches won't do it for ya either?

My father who loves soccer has had the opposite reaction.
He wishes the audience would never come back. :giggle:

Far less stressful to watch and you have no issue hearing the players communicating.
An altogether more relaxing and enjoyable experience.

After watching a few of the matches during the last Women's World Cup, I can understand his point of view.

I'm not much of a sports person, but I do miss baseball right about now. I thought this would be the year I'd finally see a game at the Trop. Oh well!
